ON MY RADAR 10.25.24

Halloween festivities are officially kicking off for our house this weekend! Our town has a costume parade, I want to carve some pumpkins, maybe bake something cozy and delicious.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Miso-Mayo Chicken Bowl

I was flipping through the latest Bon Appetit magazine and this recipe stood out to me. Mike made it that same day and wow, it was delicious! It came together pretty quickly too, so a good weekday dinner idea. I would ensure you make enough for leftovers, you’ll want it for lunch the next day too!

TWO // Black Tie Wedding Dress Option

Holiday weddings are upon us based on the DMs I’m getting! Lots of requests for wedding guest attire! This black dress is gorgeous and priced so well. It also looks so comfortable. The dress is also just such a good base so you can totally wear it to multiple weddings and mixing it up with different accessories and shoe dresses.

THREE // Paint Chip Color Scavenger Hunts

Mike and I are always trying to come up with new ideas to make our family walks entertaining and engaging for Jack. We do a lot of walks and scoots and bike rides. I will be going to get some paint chips ASAP because I think Jack is going to love this activity!!! (Anyone else’s three year old very into “I Spy”??)

FOUR // Sweater Pant Is Pack!

This J. Crew sweater pant is one of my favorite things they made. They’re so comfortable. They are great for the winter. With the right styling, you can wear to work, you can wear out to dinner, you can wear to a party. The pants are versatile– you won’t regret getting them.

FIVE // Book Gossip Newsletter

The Cut has a new monthly newsletter about books and I immediately signed up. I actually really like the idea of a monthly newsletter. Something to look forward to and it won’t just become another email I see and forget to return to. I am also ALL about book content– the more, the better. I hate trying to figure out what book to read next so I’m always looking for people who make great suggestions and keep me in the know if the up and coming books!
