ON MY RADAR 12.13.24

I’m hitting a point of burnout for the year. I keep seeing video recaps with the “2024 season has come to a close” or whatever and I think it feels like the year is over. Still have a couple of weeks to get through though. Whoops! I was having quite a bad day on Wednesday and it was pouring rain and pitch black and things were just…. bleak? Even though I had a huge to-do list to work through, I took myself to see Wicked. I LOVED IT SO MUCH. I had been trying to avoid spoilers (and was a little worried about the nearly three hour run time) and so I was thoroughly surprised and blown away by the whole thing. Cynthia and Ariana were absolutely perfect for the roles and the on-screen chemistry was just everything. I had to immediately call my sister driving home to talk through the whole thing together.

ONE // Wrapping Paper Dog Photoshoot 

Okay… I don’t know if Teddy would have the patience for this, but I’m dying over the results of this too-cute-for-words photo trend! 

TWO // Sourdough Starter Warmer

This is for my sourdough girlies who live in drafty old homes! If you’re like me and have found sourdough baking to be totallllllly different in the winter months, you might want/need this little sourdough starter warmer. It creates the perfect ideal temperature for your starter! When winter arrived, our kitchen’s temperature was way less predictable and this would solve all my problems.

THREE // Starry Night Water Glasses

Our collection of water glasses has taken a beating since we moved into our house. Right now I just have a hodge podge of them and I really want to cull it down and have a uniform look. It’s probably not going to be a project I undertake until after Christmas (my plan is really to go through everything in our kitchen), but I’ve been looking into silverware and dishes and cups as a result. These starry water glasses are topping my list of wants!

FOUR // Tibi x LL Bean

There have been so many creative collaborations between brands happening lately and I really love to see it. I’m always fascinated to see which brands partner together and what they come up with. This Tibi x LL Bean boat and tote might be up there as one of the most unique ones yet. I love it!! Looks like you can find it in Tibi boutiques according to the Instagram comments.

FIVE // Christmas Confetti Salad

Whoa, whoa, whoa have I been craving SALAD. I think because I’ve been letting myself indulge in whatever holiday treats I want, I’ve been craving all things green, too. (The other night I almost drove to the grocery store for apples because I wanted a crisp green apple so badly!) Wishbone Kitchen’s Christmas Confetti Salad looks equally festive, filling, and delicious!
