Happy Friday! I wanted to give a big plug to the Whole Foods’ tulip selection. They were on sale this weekend and I picked up a couple of bunches on a whim. They didn’t look that special in the store, honestly, but they have been blooming in the most beautiful way!! The picture below was a couple of days in and now they’re doing that fun twisty, curvy thing tulip stems do to find the light. I can’t begin to tell you how much joy they have sparked throughout the week. They’re typically not my first choice when I am picking out flowers, but now I think they may just be my favorite.
ON MY RADAR 3.12.21
Here’s what has been on my radar this week. (More retail links than usual. I haven’t done as much of my usual scrolling and I’ve clearly done more online spring-excitement induced shopping!)
ONE // The CUTEST Tennis Skirt
I want to try to play tennis this spring/summer. I think it’ll be a great way to stay active and get outside. Even though I probably won’t be super competitive, I’d love to go out and hit the ball around with a friend. I will be limited in what I can wear, but if you have tennis on your schedule… you need this skirt. The french blue piping is absolutely perfect.
TWO // Monogrammed Camel Linen Napkins
I found this Etsy shop through Luella and June! Anyway, I was obsessed with everything. I must have sent links to six friends knowing they’d love certain products too. This little camel napkin basically stole my heart. Isn’t he (she?) darling?
THREE // A Knit Polo
Okay…. this polo shirt is one of the best shirts I’ve purchased in a while. My friend Elsa recommended it and she did not disappoint!!! It’s chic but also incredibly comfortable. Initially I bought it in a couple of colors, and I’m almost embarrassed to admit how many colors I ended up buying it in. Once I tried it on, I knew it was going to be a staple for me throughout my pregnancy. (But don’t worry, this is a great shirt bump or not.) Expect to see it quite a bit in my weekly outfit roundups!
FOUR // “Adjusting to Motherhood”
One of my dear internet friends has an incredible podcast. I’m so proud of her for doing this. Creating a podcast nowadays can be so intimidating, but she is knocking it out of the park!!!! The podcast is all about relationships and I really think no matter what stage of life you’re in, there’s at least one episode that will resonate with you. When I found out I was pregnant, I made a note to go back and listen to her parenting-related episodes. I really loved this one called “Adjusting to Motherhood.” I found it very reassuring as I am about to enter this new chapter of my life.
FIVE // Decorative Carrots
I’ve never decorated for “spring” (i.e. Easter) besides just seasonal flowers. But…. I saw these woven carrots at Target. Oh and now that I’m looking at them again online, I noticed you can get a WREATH with the carrots. Cheesy?? Maybe a tiny bit, but it seems so cute too! Oh, and some woven eggs!
I already know I will be purchasing this Tuckernuck top in multiple colors, too! I have a similar top from Tuckernuck that looks a lot like style, but it’s much thicker and I love it. I think it’s called the Jojo top? Highly recommend to everyone!
So many fun spring links….a sure sign we are gearing up for brighter days!

Happy Friday to you! On the topic of active wear that you can wear during your pregnancy: I bought a suit from Youswim two years ago and absolutely love it. They’re one size fits most but you can’t tell just by looking; they hug curves perfectly and have the cutest neckline! I have the Aplomb one piece and can’t recommend it enough. Some of the colors are kind of out there but they have a great classic black and red. Might be just the thing to get you through this summer and beyond!
Bradley of Luella & June posted an item from that Etsy shop earlier this week.
YES thank you!!!!
I love decorating for spring and Easter. The carrot wreath is absolutely adorable!!

Try putting a penny in your tulip vase and it helps straighten your tulips.
I love them wild honestly!
The tulips are gorgeous! Try dropping a penny (from 1981 or older) into your vase to perk them up when they start to droop. I learned this on TikTok and it works shockingly well.
I like the carrots and the tulips. Children enjoy it when you decorate for every season / holiday. We already are in Easter mood with chocolate eggs but I might some woven carrots 🥕 and bunnies 🐰
Those woven carrots are so sweet!

Love Tory Burch sportswear, only if I was sporty enough! LOL Also, your maternity style will be such a nice change from the disasters I wore with my first. I love decorating for holidays, Easter included. I still have not put anything out. Still getting out of the Covid blues. I found very cute similar carrots at Hobby Lobby. Hobby Lobby has great decor for great prices. They even have a whole new display of a collab with Southern Marsh. I bought another set of pillows that remind me of VV.
Those tulips are soo soo beautiful! If that was taken with your new camera, great job Carly!!! Such a beautiful crisp photo!!! These flowers make me super excited for Spring too!!
