This past week went by at warp speed. We hit the ground running upon our return and I feel like “real life” hit us fast. Catching up with family, friends, and (of course) work. I felt like I needed 48 hours to get my life reassembled here. We had to get Jack readjusted to being home and us readjusted to both of us working throughout the day. It wasn’t exactly an easy week and I really miss our little nesting vacation, but I must admit that it has been nice to be home.
I did a mini closet switchover for the season while I was unpacking from the trip anyway. It was much smaller than usual as a lot of stuff doesn’t fit and I also pared down my wardrobe quite a bit!
Anyway, here’s what has been on my radar this week:
ONE // Sam Varvel’s Fall Tablescape & Soup In a Pumpkin
I loved this beyond beautiful set up Sam Varvel put together for a dinner party. She made me want to throw a party in our own backyard…. or at the very least try that soup in a pumpkin! Looks like such a fun autumnal menu.
TWO // Bow Suede Pumps
If you’re in need of a cute shoe for holiday parties, look no further. These suede pumps couldn’t be cuter and I’ve found Talbots shoes to be super comfortable, which is a huge plus. They come in a festive red or a classic black. Love the bows on the back, obviously.
THREE // Selma Blair’s Memoir Mean Baby
Selma Blair wrote a memoir and I cannot wait to read it. I’m debating on whether to listen to the audiobook or go for the actual book, but either way, I’m excited. I love following Selma Blair on Instagram and all of the advocacy work she does for multiple sclerosis. Definitely will be preordering.
FOUR // Truck and Tree Mug
Okay I saw this adorable mug and thought it was a perfect under $20 gift. Had to share it here. It really works for so many recipients, too. It has a great vintage vibe to it and it looks like it comes in a plaid box, so it’s basically ready to be gifted. Bow optional.
FIVE // Pumpkin Spice Cookies
Tessa from @nineandsixteen on Instagram shared these molasses based cookies on her Instagram story this week. She swapped out the royal icing for sanding sugar and I wanted to reach through the screen and try one! The next slow weekend morning I have, I think I’m going to try this recipe!
So glad you had a great week!! Have a relaxing weekend!

Where is that shelving unit in your closet from?? My husband and I could both use something like that!
Randomly, it was from pottery barn kids (sadly no longer available), it was a hunt to try to find something that would slide underneath the hanging bar!
where are those bins with the lids in the top right corner from?
