Happy Friday! May is cruising right along. This week was a good mix of work and fun. We even played hooky and took the boys into the city on Tuesday. We had wanted to go over the weekend, but the weather was pretty crummy. I’m glad we waited for a gorgeous day! The four of us strolled through the Museum of Natural History and Jack had the best time seeing the dinosaurs. Then we scooted over to Central Park for a hot dog picnic lunch and lots and lots of exploring.
I relaunched my bookstagram!
ONE // Hill House New Arrivals
Hill House’s summer collection launched! So many of their classic silhouettes in pretty prints for the season. I’m really loving the wisteria print– I’ve been so drawn to purple lately– and the black lily of the valley print as well. I’m tempted to try the Seraphina for something a little different than my favorite Ellie or the Sutton for a classic shift.
TWO // Floral Ribbon Work for Needlepoint
I haven’t branched out into ribbon work for needlepoint, but after watching this tutorial, I feel like I need to try it ASAP! It looks so beautiful and the extra texture adds visual interest for sure. I have a canvas I got last summer that with hydrangeas and ribbon flowers might be the perfect touch.
THREE // Pickleball Scarves
These scarves are absolutely beautiful! I’m loving how many great pickleball options we’re getting for clothing and accessories. Can’t stop! The big scarf is quite fun…. but I think the twilly would be so darling tied onto a pickleball bag for a personalized touch.
FOUR // Emma Chamberlain & Kendall Jenner’s Espresso Martini
Whoever came up with this crossover deserves a raise! Emma Chamberlain and Kendall Jenner bring their brands (Chamberlain Coffee & 818 Tequila) together to make a delicious-sounding espresso martini. Mike and I have been craving an espresso martini night with our friends and this is getting me extra inspired.
FIVE // GORGEOUS NAVY & WHITE DRESS
Stop what you’re doing and look at this dress. OMG I’m obsessed!!!! I’m debating whether or not I should get it for this summer. It’s not a nursing friendly dress (so I would have to save it for special occasions where I could disrobe to nurse, haha) And while we’re discussing, check out the one piece bathing suit, too. So, so cute.
So happy your booksstagram is back! I can’t wait to follow along!

Thank you for the inspiration to play hooky from time to time! Hope you’re having a great week xx
