On My Radar

I just had to look at my calendar to see what on earth I’ve done all week. It’s been such a blur. On Monday I felt like I was in a fog all day, although I tried to keep doing my regular “life” stuff.

I feel like I say this every week, but my workouts are the highlight of my week. In addition to my daily meditation, working out is keeping me sane. It’s crazy, but this month I’m going to hit my one-year mark at my gym! It’s hard to believe how much this particular class has changed me. It’s only three hours a week, but I need those three hours. The classes have gotten increasingly more challenging and the core group of us joke that it shouldn’t be called “Intro to Strength Training” anymore because there’s nothing “intro” about it. I even broke my personal record on the dip machine on Wednesday. (Somehow I can do the same weight as my male trainer… I have no idea why/how though!)

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Barbour Guide

Step. Right. Up. Tuckernuck just launched a Barbour guide, and it explains everything you could ever want to know about Barbour coats, and how to style them! Nice work Tuckeruck. (In case you’re wondering, the Beadnell in sage is my personal favorite.)

TWO // Miley Cyrus Sings “The Climb.”

I love Miley, and I love “The Climb.” It remains one of my top played songs on iTunes because it’s my go-to when I need a pick-me-up. She sang it on Instagram Live this weekend if you happened to catch it– it was incredible. I was happy to hear that she sang it on The Tonight Show as well.

THREE // Monogrammed Spinner (20% off)

My monogrammed suitcase is currently 20% off! I have it in cream, but oh is that olive calling my name. Or navy! Ah! So hard to pick.

FOUR // Abby the Spoon Lady

Did you guys ever play the spoons as a kid? I had one measly tune that I could do. I saw this video going viral this week and was blown away by Abby the Spoon Lady. It’s unbelievable what she can do with spoons!

FIVE // Mila Shift in Guac and Roll

Lilly’s new print features avocados and I can’t get enough. How freaking cute is that print?

SIX // NPR’s #Ramona

A personal post accidentally went up on NPR’s Facebook post. It was a mistake and could have been a PR nightmare, but it turns out that everyone needed a little #Ramona in their life.

Isn’t it amazing how working out can make you feel incredible?! I’ve been doing yoga consistently for the last 3 years and it’s the one thing that keeps me from getting super stressed out.

Carly, what size do you prefer in Barbour jackets? I am the same size as you. I’m debating whether or not to size up. Thanks!

Hey Carly! The Ramona story was the highlight of my week.

Would you have any suggestions for free mediation apps? I’m saving pennies right after buying a condo/planning a wedding, but need to get my anxiety under control!

Thanks in advance.
