On My Radar

I’m currently in San Francisco for a wedding this weekend. It’s one of my favorite cities. For the most part, I’m trying to stay a little offline. As a blogger, travel is often labeled as work with shoots and producing content/meetings. It truly feels like a luxury to just travel and enjoy every moment.

There was one spot that I had to get a quick photo. (Mostly to send to my sister because I knew she’d get a kick out of it.) We went to the Musee Mecanique! It’s in a scene from Princess Diaries and it did not disappoint. It’s a little junky, but honestly worth every quarter to just wander around and play some of the machines.

Musee Mecanique

Okay, here’s what has been on my radar this week. (I only have four things because I haven’t been online as much this week! Please do share your favorite read/find of the week in the comments so I can “catch up.”)

ONE // Women with Curly Hair Perfect Their Curls

I’m in a hair rut currently. I’m not really sure what to do with it anymore. Cut it? Go natural? Get a straightening treatment? Shave it all and just say to hell with it? I wish I didn’t give my hair this much thought, but I do. A reader sent me this video… WOW, those curls. I’m going to try this as soon as I am back home.

TWO // Ribbon Pin

I ordered this ribbon pin and it just arrived earlier this week. It’s super, super cute! It has a pin and a clip so it can be worn with a ton of different outfits. The ribbon would be the perfect touch to add a little jazz to an otherwise simple dress or a shirt.

THREE // Cashmere Tunic

This is another purchase from the past week. I’m such a sucker for cashmere pieces. I normally don’t like to spend too much money on clothing, but I make exceptions for cashmere. This tunic is adorable and goes so well with jeans for a casual look, leggings for a 100% comfortable look, and black pants for a dressier look. I’ve already worn it layered over a white button down and without on a lazy day.

FOUR // Hardy the Baby Otter

My second grade teacher was named Mrs. Cotter and she loved otters. Her whole classroom was decorated with them. Guys, watch this video of Hardy, a rescued baby otter. It will surely bring a smile to your face!

Hi
For curly hair, you need a specialized, good curly hair stylist. The hair cut is the most important.

I would personally just cu your hair shorter back to the way it was the last time you’d got it cut because Anne Hathaway in the Intern inspired you… I think it looked so great on you!! A short cut can make anyone feel so much more fresh, sharp, and chic!

I definitely have similar hair problems! My hair isn’t quite as curly, its kind of in between wavy and such a pain to style. However, I recently got an all natural keratin treatment done called Pravana Smooth out and it has been a game changer!! I had it done by a stylist in the city who is basically an expert on the treatment- 10/10 recommend!
