ON MY RADAR 7.7.23

Happy Friday! We are still in vacation mode over here enjoying our last bit of Nantucket! I just love it here and this year has been extra great because we our trip has overlapped with a bunch of our friends’ time here. The best part is that Jack has had a ton of toddler boys to play with, too. Makes our days just that much better!!!

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

my dress!

ONE // Heirloom Tomato Galette

I’m obsessed with Meredith on TikTok and she keeps sharing people recreating her Heirloom Tomato Galette. I obviously immediately looked it up and added it to my ever-growing list of things I hope to make one day…. We’ve been having the best tomatoes lately so I feel like I can really knock it out of the park! YUM!

TWO // Ruffle Rash Guard

HOW did it take me so long to find this adorable ruffle rash guard. I live and breath rash guards in the summer. I typically just wear this basic one, but this ruffled rash guard is 100% CUTE CUTE CUTE.

THREE // DIY American Flag Sweater

This is a genius DIY! I love my American Flag sweater, but it is a little on the expensive side. If you want to try your hand at a cute version you can make yourself, check out this inspiration video. I want to try it just to have another version….

FOUR // J. Crew Cashmere Sale

J. Crew is having their annual summer cashmere sale. It’s the time to stock up on cashmere pieces. My number one recommendation for the sale? This cable knit short sleeve. It’s super cute and perfect for summer months and it comes in super bright and fun colors– I have the pink!

FIVE // I Survived On €0.01 For 1 Week

I watched this series last year, where Ryan survived on one penny for 30 days, and he’s back this year with another challenge. It’s all to raise money for Water.org, too. It’s so entertaining and honestly impressive? He’s creative and funny.

Sandy

There is a technique called “duplicate stitch” which is basically embroidering on a sweater. Every time I see the flag sweater, I am tempted to try it-especially since the thing I dislike about the Lauren sweater is the RL (not a logo gal). You’re crafty Carly, try it and let us know how it works!
