I’m not even sure which way is up as I write this. We are coming back from vacation– and I am finally feeling settled again. Jack and I both spent this week catching up on sleep and gearing up for his birthday!!! I cannot believe it’s already been a year. Have I been spontaneously getting choked up thinking about my little baby turning one?! Yes. Like, frequently. We are having a simple birthday party for him with family. I’ve been getting stuff ready for the big day and can’t wait to celebrate him!
(Sharing Jack’s life jacket because I had a couple of questions about it. Fits infants up to 30 pounds, and there is also a size for children! Jack loves it– he’s definitely more than comfortable in it.)
Here’s what has been on my radar:
ONE // Juicy Turkey Meatballs
Someone that I follow (I can’t remember who, I’m so sorry!) shared this recipe for turkey meatballs, which she served on a salad, and I immediately saved the recipe. They looked absolutely delicious and I’m always on the hunt for good dinner options for us. (Why is coming up with what to have for dinner so hard?). Anyway, sharing here for myself (😉) and for you in case you need a weekday meal idea.
TWO // Never Have I Ever Season 3!
I binge watched Never Have I Ever last summer and I was thrilled to see season three is coming out…. next week!!!!! It’s such a good show and I can’t wait to watch. If you haven’t watched the first two seasons, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a coming of age series by none other than Mindy Kaling. It’s heartwarming, quirky, and funny.
THREE // Bow Loafers
Let me get one thing straight: I am not ready for fall. This has been an amazing summer and it’s still summer. But dang if the new fall arrivals aren’t piquing my interest. Gets me every time. These bow loafers from J. Crew Factory are incredible. They come in black and brown and look tres chic (without a crazy price tag).
FOUR // Convenience Store Book Exchange
This TikTok melted my heart. If you need a piece of good news, watch this ASAP. A customer and a 7/11 cashier started a little book exchange. LOVE this just so, so much.
FIVE // Organic Cotton Baby PJs
I usually steer clear of any and all prints for Jack’s clothing…. stripes and maybe stars is as far as I’ll go, ha. But I saw these little chicken and duck and pig print PJs and thought they were so darling. They’re also very affordable and organic cotton!! (The pajamas comes in toddler sizes up to 5T and footed pajamas for infants, too.)
So many fun finds! Can’t wait to hear more about his first birthday party plans!

I can’t remember if you’ve posted about it or not, but in the same vein as Never Have I Ever, I highly recommend The Summer I Turned Pretty on Amazon! It’s such a fun nostalgic summer show.
