ON MY RADAR

Wow, it’s July??? Half the year gone in a flash! I feel like I still don’t have a good grasp on time between 2020 and now. I feel like I am in the middle of a carwash or something– no sense of time. (And my ability to recall when certain things happened over the past couple of years… was it one year ago? two years ago?)

Here’s what’s been on my radar this week:

ONE // Nancy Meyers’ Home in Architectural Digest

Mark D. Sikes designed Nancy Meyers’ home. Do I really need to say anything more. GO LOOK! Drool away. Ugh, I feel like the news cycle has just been so frustrating and anger-inducing and horrible and this was a much-needed palate cleanser and pretty escape.

TWO // Over the Moon x Marysia

Somehow I missed this Marysia swimsuit collection for Over the Moon! I wish I had seen it earlier in the season. It’s absolutely beautiful. If you missed the Hill House floral swim, it’s another floral option. It is a little bit on the pricier side as a heads up!

THREE // Painting a Lampshade

There are so many great lampshades on the market right now. (A sentence I never would have given much thought about…) But honestly, I’m inspired to mix things up in our house with simple swaps. Loved this lampshade painting video– looks simple enough?

FOUR // Cashmere Cable Knit Henley T-Shirt

This would probably not work for me for a few reasons… but I’m still so obsessed with the look. It’s like if a t-shirt and a cable knit sweater had a baby. I wish it came in navy or black, then I think I would at least give it a try.

FIVE // Mad About Roe? Here’s What To Do Now.

This is a good jumping off point of you’re not sure what to do, but want to do something regarding the Roe v. Wade decision. There are links and resources and guidance on what to do if you are unable to get care in your state and also guidance on how to make the most impact in your community for change.

I feel exactly the same about time, June passed in a flash of an eye and I can’t believe it’s July already.
I can’t tell the last couple of years apart and I’m struggling to get a grasp on time.

On the topic of swimwear recs, do you have any brand/style suggestions that are best for a petite rib cage with a bigger bust? I’m a 30D/E and I struggle to find anything that fits. The only bikini top that fits me decently is one I got 4 years ago from Target so I’m in desperate need of an update!

My only advice would be to order a bunch from brands that offer free shipping and free returns! J. Crew offers cup sizes which helps!
