I’m excitedĀ to partner with thredUP on this post today. After advice for starting a blog, my next most asked question is how to build a wardrobe on a budget, without sacrificing style or quality. I have been using thredUP for a couple of years actually. It’s one of the websites I always go to when I’m looking for a particular item of clothing from a past season.

Two Books I LOVED
It’s been ages since I felt like I read a book thatĀ really spoke to me. This year I have given a few books the elusive five-star rating on my Goodreads account. It’s so hard to rate books on there, to be honest, and I wish I could rate specific elements of the book differently. (Oh,…
1 Girl, 5 Outfits: Carolyn Molloy
I’m launching a new series today that I’mĀ really excited about. Cup of Jo, one of my favorite blogs, has been doing a series for a few years now where they feature women and what they wear during a given week. The series is a great way to get to know women’s style and interests in…
Picking the Perfect Pumpkin
When October rolled around, I knew I wanted to go on an adventure to find the perfect pumpkin. I’ll probably buy a couple more from a local nursery, but I wanted to go to a PYO spot too. A reader that I’m friends with on Facebook went to Lyman’s Orchards and posted a photo. I’ve seen billboards for the Lyman’s on I95, so I knew it had to be close. The pumpkin patch there is heaven!
Working Smarter
This month marks four years since I quit my job.Ā Four years. When I put in my notice, I thought I’d hate working for myself. I was desperate for some time off so I thought I’d just do the blog for three months and interview for jobs starting in January. Once I had free time during…
Puppies on the Beach
Remember how I said it’s the best time of the year? It really and truly is. I’ve been trying to squeeze in trips to the dog park at least every other day (going first thing in the morning is my new jam). On the weekends though, I’ve been taking the pups to the beach as often as I can. They LOVE it, and IĀ don’t even care if my car is coated in two inches of sand. (Seriously, sand is in every nook and cranny of my car right now.)
Thanksgiving in Tampa
I wanted to do a little recap of my trip down to Tampa for Thanksgiving. I love going down there in November when it’s freezing in Connecticut. The day before I left we had some flurries (we couldn’t stop talking about it at the gym), and I knew IĀ was ready for some sun. As I…
9 Holiday Cookies to Make this Holiday Season
One of myĀ favorite gifts to give is baked goods. I try to whip up cookies or loaves of bread for my apartment’s office, the dogs’ vet and boarding people, my trainer, etc. The easiest thing to do and everyone always appreciates a thoughtful snack. 9 Holiday Cookies to Make this Holiday Season Guest post by…
Hello, Happy December!
I have been meaning to sit down and write out more of a personal post. Seriously every day it seems like that is my goal and it slips through the cracks. This time of year feels like a BLUR; thought I had all this time after Thanksgiving and then, bam, we’re one week into December….
