I have seven drafts/versions of this post and a handful of half-written ones on my phone. Every time I actually go to put it together, I struggle to find the words that I really want to say. Sometimes the drafts made me sound way too crazy (this “final” post probably does too), and other times…
Nantucket Bike Ride
I know, I know… another navy and white dress! I’ve actually have had this dress since last year, but I don’t think it ever made it onto the blog. If you follow me on Snapchat though, you’ll probably recognize it as it’s one of the easiest dresses to throw on and I wear it frequently.
This dress is amazing for traveling and packing. There’s a good bit of stretch in the dress, and it doesn’t wrinkle at all! The high neck line is also super flattering, and I love the bright white detailing against the navy.
8 Recipes to Grill This Summer
OMG, I needed this post a week ago. I grilled for the first time while on Nantucket last week. I felt pretty clueless, so I kept things simple with steak and vegetable kabobs. My building has grills in the courtyard, but I’ve always been too intimidated to try it on my own. I’m feeling inspired…
Sailing on the Fourth
I ALWAYS know that the summer is basically over after the Fourth of July. And, yet, it never ceases to amaze me just how fast the days start to go. I’m trying to savor every minute of summer. These photos are all from the Fourth of July this year. We fit so much into the…
Two Books I Just Read
This summer has been a horrible time for me regarding reading. I haven’t read nearly as much as I’d like to, which is apparently how I’m kicking off all of my reading posts this year. I am almost done with my crazy travel schedule, and I think I’ll be slowing down more. With that comes additional…
On My Radar
Another week on Nantucket and I have to say… I’m loving life. To be honest, I felt completely crazy coming back for another week, but it (as always) was so worth it. We still have a couple of more days here, and while it’s been partly for work, it’s also been a great time too….
Throwing My Phone in the Ocean
I have a confession right now: I’m so sick of my phone. And the really sad part about this? I have a number of friends who feel the same way. I recently talked Maxie off of the ledge as she was tempted to trade her iPhone in for a flip phone. I 100% understood where…
Under $50
I refuse to think about riding boots and cable knit sweaters just yet. I’m bracing myself for when all the stores switch over their summer inventory for the fall inventory. But for the time being, there are still some great deals out there! I rounded up over twenty items under $50!!!
Beach Day
When people find out that I grew up in Florida, I think they assume that I went to the beach every week or something. My sister goes a lot for sure, but I’m so pale that I typically don’t enjoy sitting out in the sun for too long. (Putting on sunscreen takes forever.) Even though I…
