The weekends right now have been wonderful in New York. While there’s a tiny bit of a chill in the air still (especially in the shade), it’s been nearly perfect weather for eating outdoors. I’ve been on the hunt for the best outdoor seating- especially on the Upper East Side- but I’ve also been super inspired to head to the park for afternoon picnics.
I’m really making a concerted effort to disconnect more and step away from my work. (I’m also trying to stay away from all the shopping out there!!!) Reading has absolutely turned into my number one choice for leisure time. Reading outside is basically the best thing ever. Add some healthy snacks (like berries and flavored water) and I’m the happiest girl in the world!
Have you been spending time outside lately? What are you wearing and what are you reading?
xoxo

a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
The weather is GA has been very rainy up until the past day or two. It is so nice and warm now. Even though the pool is still too cool for me, I have been enjoying time lounging by the pool! Since the semester just ended, I'm recuperating from all of the reading and studying I did all semester long and am picking out my reading for summer.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to pick up Grace Coddington's book! It should be a perfect summer read.

I got these wedges a couple weeks ago. Love.
I walk thought the Boston Commons every day doing to school, and I cannot wait for finals to end next week to do exactly this! I am craving fresh air and sunshine! I love that blanket and am so excited to start reading Grace's book – it's been on my kindle forever!

We FINALLY got some sun in NC so I'm heading out tonight to enjoy it! I just finished Lunch in Paris (much better than I thought it would be) and I'm about to start My Berlin Kitchen. There's a theme here…
This week has been my week off from school between the spring and summer A semesters. (I'll be a senior at UF this year.) I'm from St. Petersburg and have been sitting outside by my pool reading all week!
I just finished "Perfect Girls, Starving Daughters" and absolutely loved it. It was so inspiring. I think it should be required reading for girls entering high school and/or college. I'm now reading Mindy Kaling's "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns)". It's a quick read and absolutely hysterical! I find myself laughing out loud. I highly suggest reading it. 🙂
Love spending time outside, and that's such a cute outfit to do it in. I'm currently reading "A Thousand Splendid Suns" which is definitely something to add to your 'to-read' list if it isn't on there already. So good!
