PREPPY SPRING STYLE

Last weekend we had a nearly 70° day that was such a treat after what has felt like another never-ending winter. I put on a cute spring outfit and made a day of it by going on a walk with Jack and grabbing coffee with Elsa. This week I’m in Charleston for my book signing and heading to Florida afterward to spend more time with my family. I feel like spring always arrives sooner in the South, and Charleston definitely feels that way with flowers already starting to bloom. I brought lots of cute preppy spring pieces to wear since the weather is so nice and wanted to share a few more I have my eye on.

Navy Blouse // Chambray Shirt Dress (Under $70) // Ballet Mules // Cardigan Sweater // Mini Straw Tote // Striped Sweater // White Sneakers // Sunglasses // White Jeans // Floral Shirt Dress (Under $130) // White Midi Dress // Mules (Under $30)

This cream cardigan sweater with red and navy trim immediately caught my eye! It reminds me of something from Gucci but at a fraction of the price. It’s a classic piece that’s perfect for spring layering. On another note, I can’t wait to start wearing white jeans again. While browsing Madewell, I saw these Demi-crop jeans that look super cute. I have jeans in a similar style from J.Crew that I LOVE, so I’m thinking of adding these to cart!

A shirt dress will always be a classic preppy spring staple. I find they’re a great go-to for days when you want to look a little nicer but without a lot of fuss, ha! I like this under $70 chambray shirt dress and the fun floral print on this under $130 shirt dress. I’d style them with white sneakers for a casual outfit or with these ballet mules for a dressy yet effortless look.

Lastly, although I wear more raffia in the summer months, I had to share this mini tote under $100 for anyone heading on a spring break vacation!
