A FUN NOVELTY FOR SUMMER HOSTING WITH BED BATH & BEYOND

This post is sponsored by Bed Bath & Beyond and ShopStyle Collective.

I’m not a natural host, but I married one! Mike loves having people over and when we first started dating I was so overwhelmed. We had people over at our apartment multiple times a week for all kinds of events. Big barbecues, small dinners, rowdy game nights, and everything in between. Over time, I got more used to it and, dare I say it, even grew to love it. Well… let me be the first one to say, the minute I got the Margaritaville Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker set up, I was ready to invite the entire neighborhood over!! IT IS SO FUN. Yes, it’s a novelty, but if you like piña coladas (hehe) and hosting people, it could be so fun!

Bed Bath & Beyond has everything you need for summer hosting. Whether you’re looking for kitchen gadgets so you can whip up your go-to recipes or all things outdoor dining, Bed Bath & Beyond has you covered. (And a whole bunch of novelty kitchen appliances, which I just can’t get enough of! Lots of fun gifting ideas here!!)

The Margaritaville Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker is honestly just so much fun. You can make any kind of frozen drink (alcohol is optional). There’s an ice shaver and a blender– it couldn’t be easier to use. You load the ice into the ice chamber. With the included measuring cup, you can easily measure out different liquid ingredients for the drink you want to make or you can use your own recipe. The liquid goes straight into the blender and then you just power it on and click the automatic button.

The machine instantly starts shaving the ice and then blends the shaved ice and liquid together. You can do this manually, too. Have I mentioned how fun it is?!?

I started texting photos of my concoctions to all my friends and really just can’t wait to whip it out at our next gathering.

LOOK AT THAT SLUSH!

I also picked up these margarita glasses.  Picture perfect!!

We’ve had ours for 10 years now and it’s still going strong and we love it! It’s our favorite over the top or extra gift for people who seem to have everything 🙂

What do you think of that Ottolenghi Simple cookbook?? It’s been on my list for a bit. I’d love to see a post about any cookbook faves from you 🙂

Hi Carly, this looks so fun!

blog post idea: what have you learned from Mike about how to host? Any tips for overcoming the anxiety/jitters and making sure you have enough for guests without over-doing it? I would love to host more in my spacious (for NYC, at least) apartment but it is the norm here to meet up “out” so it’s not something my friend group experiences much!
