RUFFLE MY FEATHERS

The minute this shirt popped up as a new arrival, I ordered it in three colors. Every time I’ve worn one, when someone asks me where it’s from (always a good sign of a winner), I say “It’s J. Crew!” and then add, “I got it in three colors.” Like, when something works, it works.

I hope J. Crew keeps bringing it back– and I think it’d even work beautifully as a belted shirtdress.

But I also want to talk about these jeans. I bought them on a whim. I was looking for something in a lighter wash that would be comfy for summer… These are like A. Golde dupes with a hint of stretch making them even more comfortable and way, way more affordable. (I bought them in my normal size.)

Maybe this post should have just been a “here are three things I recently purchased that I highly recommend.” Shirt ✔️ Jeans ✔️ Now let’s discuss these shoes…. I loved how these looked online and I was hoping they’d be easy to walk in and comfortable. Happy to report YES to both. Sometimes mules aren’t that flattering and they can be very hard to walk in (at least for me?). These don’t slide off and no blisters. A fun new addition.

Thank you for wearing your hair natural. I have the same texture and it took me a while to be comfortable with it. It means so much to see someone else looking beautiful with my type of curls.

How does the shirt run as far as what size you ordered based on your regular size? Trying to determine what size I should order. Thanks!

Love the outfit and love those mules though I got them in saddle and they destroyed my feet. Maybe it’s a foot-shape thing? Haha!

I have multiples of the same items in different colors too – mostly shoes – but I agree, when you love it, invest in more.

I have been looking for a white blouse to wear for engagement photos and this might be the winner! Going to go try it on this week 😉

Do you think the shirt can be worn untucked? I’m thinking of some cropped pants to go with it, but I think it would look best untucked in my vision. Sometimes that style looks too boxy to be untucked though. 😬 Thank you!

It can! It is a little bit longer, which is why I tucked it in, but I think with the right pants it could work!

Love this look. What is the product you’re using when you wear your hair natural? I think you mentioned it in a story.
