Why you should write your first book… now!

I love that Maxie chose to write this post during the summer. I spent the couple of months off of school after my freshman year of college writing the chapters to my book. It wasn’t terribly hard, but it did take a lot of commitment to sitting down every day to churn out a few…

2023 GIFTS FOR BOOK LOVERS

My favorite gift guide every year to put together…. GIFTS FOR BOOK LOVERS! I feel like people who like books are actually very easy to shop for. (Like who wouldn’t want just a big gift card to their favorite book store or, better yet, an in person shopping spree!) Luckily for us, there are also…

WHAT I READ IN JANUARY 2023

I am really proud of my reading this month because I did something I have been putting off for years. I finally read A Little Life! (My review below…) But I had been putting it off for really one reason, which I’m not proud to admit but here it goes anyway. I didn’t want to commit…

Three Book Suggestions

I blew threw three books last week– special thanks to long commutes and a vacation for that! In college I used to read at least a book a week and I miss that steady pace. I miss meeting new characters every week and being able to transport myself somewhere new. It was nice to have…

What I Read in June

I checked my calendar four times to see if it was actually the end of the month. It’s funny that last month, I was writing about how I was so stressed that all I could muster to do for fun was read and this month, we actually did the move!!!! And I’ve had very little…

Giftable Books

For most places, it’s too late to order online, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve missed out on the gifting boat completely. My mom and I popped into Barnes and Noble yesterday and it was absolutely packed. They even had tables of people wrapping gifts. Every year at least one person on my list gets a book. (This year it’s my sister and she doesn’t read here so we’re safe… but I got her You Are a Badass.)

More Books

There are quite a few books that I read this summer that are worth sharing here! I also (selfishly) love getting book recommendations from you guys so I hope you share some of your favorites in a comment! The train ride into NYC is turning into my favorite part of the day because I have 50…
