With tomorrow being the start of April, I feel like I can finally, really, start thinking about my spring wardrobe! I love putting together these capsule wardrobes every season as a resource to come back to on days when I’m lacking inspiration or stuck on what to wear. So whether you like to follow a capsule wardrobe or not, think of this as a great base of staples to build off. This spring, I’m leaning towards a simple French-inspired style with classic pieces you can mix and match and dress up and down.
White Blouse // Cashmere Tee // Cream Cardigan // Striped Cardigan // Floral Shirt Dress // Navy Shirt Dress // Floral Midi // White Jeans // Blue Jeans // Pearl Earrings // Sunglasses // Watch // Navy Bag // Woven Leather Tote // Canvas Crossbody // Captoe Flat // Cream Heel // Sneaker // Buckle Flat
I find myself wearing a lot of flats during transition months since they’re comfortable and versatile. I love my black and cream Chanel flats because they go with everything. But I’ve also found a more affordable pair in a similar style that I included here with a gorgeous quilted detail. Low heels are lovely for special occasions, and this navy buckle flat is a great business casual option. Lastly, a simple white sneaker is a year-round staple in my closet.
I’m swapping my go-to pair of jeans for the same style in a lighter wash as a nice change for spring. I’ve been wearing these white jeans quite a bit lately, and I’m so glad I discovered Agolde’s line of denim. Jeans styled with flats and a buttoned cardigan sweater are a cute and easy spring outfit. I’ve included two of my current favorites: a navy and white striped chunky cardigan and a pocket cream v-neck.
These cashmere tees are a great transition piece, and so is this gauzy blouse. I have it in green, but I think I might also need to get it in white. What I’m most excited about this spring is wearing dresses again. I’m leaning towards shirt dresses like this linen navy midi and long-sleeved dainty floral dress. I also came across this stunning blue and white floral dress that I’m seriously eyeing.
