Even if you don’t know what Sriracha is, you have probably seen the bottle before. Garrett watched this documentary about Sriracha and immediately needed a bottle to give it a go. “It goes with everything,” he told me. I watched it with him too and thought it was one of the best stories as far as documentaries go. (Here are more of my favorite documentaries!) The whole story behind the cult favorite sauce is incredibly inspiring. Who knew a short documentary about a condiment could be so captivating?!
After watching, I felt this strange desire for the sauce too! We found the bottle after searching the grocery store for quite some time (fyi, it’s in the section with Asian cuisine/ingredients and not with the traditional hot sauces) and we started trying it with various foods. It really can go with everything, especially if you like a little kick!
My favorite things to put Sriracha on? Chicken fingers, scrambled eggs, and ramen!
The movie is available to download on the website and it’s also available on Hulu right now, too.

PS This started off as a Kickstarter project! Love seeing creative things come to life when fans come together to support it!
I love this spunky sauce with sushi, but have yet to branch out with it onto other foods. I can't wait to watch this documentary! Maybe it will inspire me to try some new combos!
My fiance loves it and has me hooked on it now! We love adding it to stir fry! We just throw veggies and chicken or whatever protein we want in a pan. Then, along with either soy sauce or teriyaki sauce, we throw in siracha. It adds the perfect amount of heat and sweet! Also – a restaurant near me serves it as a dipping sauce for potato tots. It is SO GOOD!
It's wonderful to see Kickstarter projects become a success! I have a friend who actually carries a bottle with her everywhere but I've yet to give it a try.
I love all the documentaries you suggest! Have you watched Out Of The Clear Blue Sky? It's fairly new on Netflix. It's the most interesting 9-11 documentary I've saw.
I love quirky documentaries, and most of the ones you recommend I end up loving. I haven't actually tried this condiment, but I guess I can check out this film anyway!
^ didn't mean to delete that comment… Awkward. I will definitely watch this documentary today! I love it on my sushi but I haven't tried it on anything else. Wait… I take that back, I did try the sriracha flavored Lays! Thanks for the recommendation!
Nothing says summer to me like finally being able to have dinner outside with our friends. We are gearing up for al fresco dining with @mackenziechilds pieces in their iconic Royal Check– the blue and white pattern couldn’t be more “me” and fits in perfectly with my summertime aesthetic. I especially love that each #mackenziechilds handcrafted piece has a unique signature of its own and no two pieces are identical. Don’t forget to use my exclusive code CARLYROYAL15 to save 15% off for the next 48 hours. Valid once per shopper. #MCPartner #RoyalCheckCollection
Move over coastal grandmother, it’s going to be a red hot summer for me ❤️💃🏻🔥 I am love-love-loving red lately and I am incorporating the hue more and more into my everyday outfits. It’s a little bolder than I typically go for and, even though I’m three months postpartum, I’m feelin’ it! 👉🏻 Leave a comment saying “red” and I’ll send you the links to my outfits featured in the Reel!
My little roar-bear and I made it through the fourth trimester together 🧸 These past twelve weeks have flown by. I can’t wrap my head around the fact that we only just met- I feel like I have known Rory my whole life.
I have been calling myself a Chill Mom™️ since having Jack and now I’m realizing that I’m even chiller with Rory. (Like is birth order really less about sibling order and more about the version of mom you’re born to?) I’ve been just rolling with Rory’s infancy and I’m so much happier. Maybe it’s just that I’m more tired with a toddler too, or know that it’s going to go by so fast, or just have more confidence… probably a combination. I feel less obsessive and less stressed out by the details. I’m “making it” without having to fake it. As an example, today I noticed I hadn’t tracked a single nap- just watching sleepy cues and trying to get to a “good enough” pattern as Rory’s naps consolidate. Is he following a ~perfect~ nap schedule? No. Are we thriving? Frankly, yes!
(If you want to read my original Chill Mom post, comment “chill mom” and l’ll send it to you via DM!)
We came, we saw elephants, we ate ice cream 🐘🦒🦓 @ashleybrooke and I always talk about how we became FAST friends. Somehow we have been right there with each other during some of life’s worst moments… so it’s extra sweet that we now get to celebrate the good ones! Watching our boys play together, a little baby in a stroller, and another baby on the way… it’s everything we dreamed of.

I loooove it on eggs. Gotta go light but it's a great way to switch things up! I've also heard it's delicious mixed with ketchup or mayo for dipping!
