I finally cleaned out two drawers in our dining room. When we moved into our house, they became a dumping ground for random things I wasn’t sure what to do with…. and didn’t want to look at. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I had even opened the cabinet to access the drawers. In what might be the beginning of a “nesting” phase, I went to town cleaning them out. I will spare you the details of the contents of said drawers, but trust me when I say it was an absolute hot mess.
The great news is that we now have two very large, beautifully empty spaces to work with!!! I started to reorganize our collection of table linens, which has grown substantially since we moved into our house. Right now the linens are split between a basket stored under our table and baskets down in the basement. It’s hard to know what exactly we have to work with since they’re not all that organized. I think I’m going to dedicate one of the drawers for table linens so I can quickly see what I have and get inspired to set a beautiful table, instead of reaching for the first things at the top of the basket over and over.
TABLE LINENS
Anyway, that’s a “project” I have queued up for our next rainy weekend day. But it absolutely has me inspired to lust over all beautiful table linens available right now. I have a feeling I am not going to be able to resist adding to the collection once I have it all organized.
(Is this what 31 looks like, by the way? Getting inordinately excited for table linens? Because…. I am.)
Nira Green Placemats // Painted Check Table Runner // Crimson Blossom Tablecloth // Batik Napkins
Herringbone Border Linen Napkin // Flatware Pocket Napkins // White & Green Link Placemats
Blue Bow Dinner Napkins // Afternoon Tea Placemats // Fringe Cocktail Napkins
Rose Trellis Scallop Placemats // Liberty London Dinner Napkins // Phlox Blue Tablecloth
It’s a 100% what 30 almost 31 looks for me! All of this is very cute, especially the green placemats.I also like to go to second-hand shops to find my tablecloths, too much possibilities!
Ooohhhh so much fun to go looking through things and discover what things are already in your home! Love the ideas you have here!
