THANKSGIVING TABLESCAPE TIPS

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and I’m looking forward to it more than ever! We’ll be heading to Tampa this year, and I’m so excited since it’s been a few years since I last went home for Thanksgiving. I always enjoy the additional time with family around the holidays, and it feels even more special with Jack around. I can’t wait to pick back up some of my favorite traditions. We’ve always had a hotdog lunch before the official Thanksgiving dinner, and our game night tradition is one of the day’s highlights since it often ends with us shrieking in laughter.

I’ve gotten into putting together tablescapes over the last couple of years and wanted to share a few ideas for those hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year. The great thing about a tablescape is that it can be as simple or elaborate as you’d like, so have fun with it!

Plates // Turkey Place Card Holders // Pumpkin Napkin Rings // Rattan Turkey // Wine Glasses // Charcuterie Boards // Butter Keeper // Gingham Tablecloth // Pumpkin Tureen

Pinecones // Turkey Napkins // Flatware // Rattan Placemat // Orange Napkins // Gravy Boat // Candles // Serving Platter // Tortoise Serving Utensils // Burgundy Tablecloth

Choosing a coordinated color palette will help create a cohesive tablescape. For Thanksgiving, you can’t go wrong with autumnal hues like burgundy, brown, deep orange, and sage green. A helpful tip when designing a tablescape is to start with the focal points that take up the most space to set the tone and work your way down.

A beautiful tablecloth is the first step to any great tablescape. This neutral gingham tablecloth is a timeless piece you can reuse for various occasions, and it’s only $20. On the other hand, this burgundy floral tablecloth is truly show-stopping and will add a fun touch to your table.

Add texture and dimension to your table with rattan placemats and napkins. How cute are these turkey embroidered napkins! They’re surprisingly minimal but still bring a fun flare to your table. You can also opt for colored linen napkins for a pop of color. I love the mellow feel of this burnt orange set.

When choosing a centerpiece, get creative! It’s an easy way to elevate and personalize your table. I mean, how adorable is the rattan turkey?! Fill in the center with tapered candlesticks, greenery, floral arrangements, pinecones, or mini pumpkins to add height to your tablescape.
