The Esme Dress

I know! Two Gal Meets Glam dresses in one week! Honestly? I can’t get enough. It’s only a matter of time before my entire closet is GMG, and I’m totally okay with it. I keep saying this, but every dress seems to be better than the last. (And the bar was already set pretty high from the start.)

I got a sneak peek at this dress when I was down in Charleston and immediately put it on my “wish list.” Red is one of my favorite colors to wear– I think it looks good with my dark hair and fair skin.

Everything about this dress spoke to me, even though it’s not something I feel like I’d naturally gravitate towards. It fits like a dream though and every detail is simply perfection from the print to the pockets.

The dress actually dresses down pretty easily. Even though the print looks a little dressier, I wore it with a denim jacket and slides and it looked just as cute. These espadrilles almost seem made for the dress too. If you need a pair, I highly recommend these. I’ve worn them for years and they look just as good as the day I bought them. I do recommend sizing down a 1/2 size because they stretch out a tiny bit as you break them in. I usually wear a 7 and got these in a 6.5.
