Last week, I started panicking that I needed a haircut before I gave birth. (I swear, my brain is no longer my own right now! It’s like “nesting” on steroids.) I snagged the first available appointment for my haircut and once the day arrived, I decided to really lean into it. I did my makeup! I put on a dress! I accessorized! All things I hadn’t really done in a while. I walked out of the salon feeling fabulous. Yes, my legs and feet were incredibly swollen and I definitely waddled in and out of the salon…. but I felt fabulous nonetheless.
It was also such a gorgeous day, felt like capturing the outfit, my hair, and my mood with some photos. I put on the trellis nap dress which sold out when it first launched but…. it’s coming BACK! ON FRIDAY!
If you’ve been wanting to get your hands on this print, mark your calendars for this Friday (August 6) at 12pm EST. As with all nap dress launches, you’ll want to be prompt. I’m hopeful that since this is a re-release, they’ll have plenty of stock… but it wouldn’t hurt to be on top of it just in case it does sell out quickly. I recommend creating an account and having your information filled out ahead of time if you haven’t already… and being on the website a few minutes before the launch. (Unlike other retailers, they do seem to be on top of their tech game for big launches and I’ve yet to experience an issue with getting through to the site when it goes live– go Hill House!)
Also, I have been recommending that people size down with the nap dress, but if you’re really unsure, Hill House offers free returns so it might be beneficial to order both sizes you’re considering so you can try it on at home and return the one that doesn’t work.
I am really into the trellis print. It comes in both a green (what I’m wearing) and a pastel. The green, in my opinion, is the most versatile and can transition right into fall. I love wearing mine with denim jackets and light cardigans when it cools off.
