CARLY THINK PINK WITH J. CREW

When J. Crew reached out to partner on a post together, I knew I wanted to shoot it down in Florida while I was visiting my family. J. Crew is always the first place I go whether I’m looking for staples and basics or going somewhere special. It’s already hot down at my parents’ house so I opted for a poolside look and then a comfy dress for sitting outside for dinner… both in PINK. I am really feeling the pink hues this season; it seems to fit my mood lately.

This smocked dress is not maternity, but I absolutely love the way it fits over my bump. The smocking is super comfortable and I feel like the pleats are very on trend. It would be super cute with a little denim jacket over it and sneakers, too, for a casual daytime look. It is also available in white (perfect option for a daytime bridal shower) and black (hello LBD).

And how darling are these little heels? They fit true to size and are the perfect fun-yet-neutral summer slip on.

For the poolside look, I’m really feeling this linen coverup. I went up a size for comfort and LOVE how airy and easy to throw on it is. I think I’m going to be wearing this quite a lot this summer from our backyard to the beach and back again. It comes in a handful of colors and can be tied around the waist, knotted at the waist, buttoned all the way open, or just draped (like here).

I always love a good swimsuit from J. Crew– they always nail fun but classic prints and silhouettes for swim. Loved this pink gingham scoop bikini top with the gingham bottoms (both come in navy as well).
