As of this weekend, I have officially kicked off my plaid season. I feel weird wearing plaid after Christmas (especially if it’s heavily green or red) so I have a short window to get my tartan fix in. This plaid dress definitely leans towards “holiday,” but luckily I had a great excuse to wear it a little prematurely a couple of weeks ago for a preview of Last Christmas. I definitely used the movie as an excuse to get into the holiday spirit a bit early– I like a good theme, after all.
I’m having an extra low-key Thanksgiving this year and probably won’t get more dressed up than a cashmere sweater and comfy leggings. But if you are getting dressed up for Thanksgiving, this could be a great option. Extra comfortable and with the bow on the back, you can adjust post-meal… just in case 😂
I also think it’s a more subtle green than what you’d normally see for a holiday plaid.
The bow on the back is, naturally, my favorite part.

OMG i have been drooling over this dress since it launched! It is so perfect! Would you say sizing is normal GMG sizing compared to the other dresses?

I feel like it runs true to size– maybe slightly on the bigger side.
This dress gives me all the holiday feels!

Hi there,
Would you have any good recommendations on a good trench like the one you showed above? Could London Fog be a good one?
Thank you,
Tara
