LAST WEEK’S WIN: I got out my sewing machine!!! Ugh. I have so many thoughts about this and maybe I’ll save it for a longer, full post? But it was a huge win for me. I’ve missed it so much. Because it’s such a process to get a station set up and I can only work in small chunks, I haven’t been doing it. But I made the commitment this past weekend and had so much fun. I was rusty… but things came back slowly but surely.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Get out of the house. Such a small, dumb thing but I have been way too cooped up. Need to be better about getting out of the house. I’d love to take a workout class, go for a walk with a friend, sit down for coffee somewhere… I’ll even take just going for a drive.
TUESDAY
It was bitterly cold and I actually didn’t do much outside of hanging with Jack inside, staying warm, and shooting some content for work.
WEDNESDAY
THURSDAY
Elsa and I got together during one of Jack’s afternoon naps! It was a good excuse to pull this dress out, which has been sitting in my closet unworn for a while. Love it so much.
Dress (under $40)
FRIDAY
Ran a couple of quick errands first thing in the morning and then spent the rest of the day working from home trying to set myself up for a good weekend.
SATURDAY
I started a sewing project, which I knew was going to take me longer than normal because I was squeezing it in during naps. It was such a nice and low key day though. Definitely needed it.
SUNDAY
Mike’s sister and her daughters came over for a little bit in the morning, and otherwise we just hung out at home. I finished up my sewing projects, washed our linens, and did quick house clean.
Sweatshirt (under $20)
MONDAY
I had every intention of getting some little projects done today. Since Mike didn’t have work, it would have been an ideal time to do so… but I couldn’t motivate myself at all. I did get in a Peloton bootcamp workout though!! That felt like a big accomplishment, ha.
Such cute outfits! Thanks so much for sharing!

I don’t know if you have a spot for your sewing machine but a few months ago, I converted my closet into a craft closet so I could leave my cricut set up permanently and it made such a difference! Not having to lug it out and all the supplies helps me use it more.
I absolutely LOVE the blazer in the first outfit. Is that a chunky black turtleneck underneath? Or a scarf? XO
Ok- random question. Are your floors heated? I noticed you’re barefoot frequently and I wondered “gosh aren’t her feet cold in those NJ temps?” But then I thought – oh, heated floors! If so, was that an expensive/difficult instal?
