This is my last post until after Christmas! I’m going to take some time off from daily posting. I may be on Instagram here and there but for the most part I think I’ll be stepping away for at least a week. Usually I come back on December 31st to share my favorites of the year, but there’s a chance I push that into the new year. We’ll see!
Last week was a cozy week at home with lots of snow! Really did nothing besides work and try to get outside as much as possible!
WEEK OF OUTFITS 12.22.20
TUESDAY
Nothing exciting to note really at all. Just trying to get through work before my break.
WEDNESDAY
I got all ready for my volunteer shift, but it was canceled due to the impending snow storm! Mike and I spent the evening prepping the house– making sure we had the flashlights ready to go, the sidewalk and driveway salted, and firewood in the fireplace.
THURSDAY
Most of the snowstorm happened overnight so we woke up to the most beautiful winter wonderland. It snowed until midmorning and we tried to take advantage of being outside a bit (it’s just too magical to pass up) and then I worked from the couch by the fire!!! All the hygge vibes.
Similar Turtleneck (the one I’m wearing is a few years old from Tuckernuck)
FRIDAY
Another do nothing day. But tried to get out by walking the dogs– hence my outfit. I love the snow but it is pretty soggy out there. The sidewalks were mostly cleared but a lot had turned to slush from salting. The dogs needed a proper bath upon returning!
SATURDAY
Mike and I took the dogs for a long hike through the a trail near us. It’s one of my favorite things to do, even if it’s freezing. I BUNDLED UP and was honestly sweating by the end– despite it being 20 degrees. The dogs kept us at a quick pace. Spent the rest of the day mostly doing nothing.
SUNDAY
We met up with my brother in law, sister in law, and nieces to go sledding at a park. I can’t remember the last time I went sledding and I totally forgot just how fun it was. (Also a great workout hiking back up the hill, usually holding the sled and a toddler.) I could have spent all day doing it!
MONDAY
Last day of work for me before taking my hiatus. I also took the dogs for an extra long walk through the neighborhood. It’s been cold but it feels so refreshing, especially with the sun out. I came back into the house and my cheeks were bright red like I had gone skiing… a feeling I totally love.
Sneakers (though switched to boots again for the walk– still slushy)
Loving the legging and socks combos!
Very, very beautiful!
Just wanted to wish you Happy Holidays and thank you for a wonderful year of posts. You’re my favorite!

I love your weekly outfit posts! We’re moving from a warm climate to a much colder one (usually it’s the reverse, right?) so you’re giving me so much cold weather dressing help. Thank you!
Wishing you and Mike a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your life with your readers. You are my favorite blogger, and I really appreciate the type of content you posted during this tumultuous year.
I’m loving all the Christmas socks haha! Your snow day outfit is lovely, my favourite of them all!
Enjoy Christmas and have a great, happy, relaxed holiday! 🙂 x

I love these posts so much! The WFH vibes are so relatable right now. I hope you keep doing these forever!
LOVE these cozy looks! Random question, what kind of socks do you wear with your tennis shoes? All of my no-show socks continually slip. So embarrassing!
