Clearly I am having a moment with cardigans. They’re so easy to nurse in and it’s a nice way to be cozy and cute. I am itching for warm weather and we got a little taste of it last week. I turned to Mike and said, “okay, I feel like we can get to spring!” I’m sure we’ll have more snow and plenty of super chilly days, but spring sort of feels right around the corner. Maybe?! Hopefully?!
LAST WEEK’S WIN: We got to spend a lot of time with fam last week. With life picking back up, it’s been hard to nail down calendars so it was great to get nearly everyone in the same room at the same time. Some one on one hangs, some big hangs, and some in between hangs. (I love that Mike comes from a big family and knowing that Jack is going to grow up with cousins and a ton of aunts and uncles!)
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Work out and feel good physically. I can feel myself getting a little stressed trying to figure out squeezing in my life. I think I need to get back in the habit of waking up early and working out before Jack wakes up, but it’s going to require me to go to bed earlier… and I’ve been working pretty late at night. TBD, tbd.
WEDNESDAY
It was a gorgeous, gorgeous day on Wednesday. Jack and I had a fun day and then went on an extra long family walk in the evening to soak up as much of the spring-like weather as possible.
THURSDAY
I worked on sponsored content between Jack’s naps and then I was pretty anxious reading and watching the news for most of the day.
FRIDAY
I spent the morning getting ready and prepping for an interview promoting my book. When we wrapped, I went out with my sister in law for a little afternoon coffee hang. And then Mike and I had a cozy date night at home.
Jack’s boots (he kept kicking one off ha)
SATURDAY
We had our nieces over after their ballet class in the morning for a French toast breakfast. And we met up with everyone again in the evening for a fun bowling night. It was quite a fun day… and I even got our basement organized in between!
SUNDAY
I put this on thinking I was going to get on the Peloton, but nope. We went for a long walk in the morning and then I took it easy and had a low key day at home instead.
Sweatshirt (under $20)
MONDAY
Nothing too exciting to report besides going to Target. I mostly do drive up pick up now, but I was kind of craving walking around mindlessly. You know those kinds of days?!
I love the blazer and jean look! It’s perfect for transitional weather!

Hi Carly! May I ask – what size do you take in the Alex Mill cardigans? Do you find they run on the small size or TTS? Thank you!
I got size small– I like the extra length!
Hi Carly – any plans to share basement organization tips? I’m always looking for fresh ideas.
Would love a post on the reorganized basement – I always struggle with tidiness in “big” storage areas where it’s easy to just chuck everything and close the door.
I just love that brown blazer you wore on Friday! What a great outfit!
