WEEK OF OUTFITS 3.16.22

Going a little out of order this week as I had a sponsored post go live yesterday (with one of my favorite brands!). Oh and I am loving this past weeks’ outfits because it was WARM and we were traveling and doing things and not just stuck at home. Felt so good for so many reasons.

LAST WEEK’S WIN: Gosh, so many. Jack cut two new teeth (!!!). Everything travel-wise went smoothly. I got to see so many friends and my parents and sister. My book signing went great! We had great meals and lots of little adventures. Over all, it was just such a fulfilling week away.

THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Move every day. I’m trying to do some kind of physical activity every day. Doesn’t even need to be a full Peloton ride or workout… but I need to do something. I think it’ll help with getting in the habit so I can then increase the intensity down the road? Right now, I just need to get used to finding the time.

Here’s what I wore last week…

TUESDAY

I have no photographic proof of Tuesday’s outfit. Pretty sure I just wore leggings and a long sleeve shirt after Jack’s swim lesson. I was a maniac trying to get packed and ready for our trip. No surprise here, but I never liked packing for myself and I can confirm it’s even harder when packing for an infant, too. I realized the day before our trip that he didn’t fit into so many of the things I typically put him in. Anyway, that was my day mostly.

WEDNESDAY

We had a super early flight to Charleston Wednesday morning. I changed into this once we landed. It was supposed to rain all day, but held off which was great! We walked around, got lunch. I met up with Julia and her fam. Mike and I got dinner. It was a full day of fun and I went to bed feeling so happy.

THURSDAY

We got breakfast with Julia and Thomas in the morning. Then Mike worked at the hotel while Jack and I just bopped around together exploring Charleston. This is what I wore for the book signing! I found this dress and thought it was a perfect match for my book cover and worked nicely for Charleston vibes. (It ended up being quite cold, but I was dressed for a warm night 🤪.)

FRIDAY

Jack and I headed down to Tampa and Mike returned to NJ (very) early Friday morning. The early wake up time was worth it though to have such a full day in Tampa. We had lunch with my aunt. I got to see a couple of my girlfriends from high school and their kids. We had dinner out as a family. Just such a good day.

SATURDAY

We had a low-key day at home with my mom and sister. A crazy storm blew through so it was nice to just… relax and not feel like we needed to be in a million places. Then Jack and I drove across the state for Ashley’s baby shower! It was the main reason for our Florida visit and I’m just so happy we could celebrate her and her baby boy.

SUNDAY

We woke up to pretty cold temperatures. My mom, dad, sister, Jack, and I went on a long walk by the bay. We actually squeezed in a lot on Sunday! We got coffee! We went shopping! We went swimming! We went to the park! I just realized how much I wanted to do before we came home, so my mom and I made it all happen one thing after another. (Jack and I were exhausted in the best way by the time we went to bed.)

MONDAY

Jack and I flew back to New Jersey. And we kind of immediately dove right back into regular life. (I did take an hour long nap and consumed three cups of coffee because I couldn’t keep my eyes open by 5pm.) I wore this on the flight to be extra comfy.

I bought the under $20 Target sweatshirt, and then bought the under $25 hooded sweatshirt – both are incredible!

Obsessed with that pink Reformation dress!! Does it work braless or does it need a strapless bra?
