This was a rollercoaster of a week. Highs and lows in every area. The weather (sunshine! rain!), work (wins! fails!), personal (good days! bad days!). I’ve never been so grateful for setting my intention for the year to take things one day at a time. Honestly, I’ve been waking up each morning with a fresh slate, even if the day before didn’t go as planned. So simple, but it’s been working for me.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: I had two standout moments. The first… I got a vaccine appointment. I’m eligible now because I’m pregnant and after talking to my doctors, I personally feel confident in my decision. It was such a relief to get an email saying new appointments were available! And we also (finally) met one of our new neighbors! Out neighborhood is usually such a happening place, but the pandemic has made it super quiet. A ton of families moved to vacation homes for the entirety of the summer and now we’re buried in snow so it’s just been super quiet.
It was so nice to meet this new neighbor and we can’t wait for warmer weather so we can do more backyard get togethers. We have a bunch of babies and a few pregnant moms on our block right now; it just makes me really happy thinking about our kids playing together. (Sounds so cheesy to type out, but the family-friendly street was a huge draw when we bought our house!)
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Confession… I still have not cleaned out my car. So putting that back on the list 😉
WEEK OF OUTFITS 3.2.21
TUESDAY
To be honest, I have no clue what I did on Tuesday besides working and shooting sponsored content. Not a memorable day at all.
WEDNESDAY
This was the GLORIOUS 50 degree spring day. It was the first day where I didn’t feel morning sick whatsoever and it was warm. I was on Cloud Nine all freaking day. Despite having a mile long to-do list, I got a late start to the day because I wanted to take advantage of a) feeling well and b) the weather. I ended up working pretty late in the night but it was 100% worth it.
THURSDAY
Probably the last day I’ll be able to button my skinny jeans…. but I ordered the same pair (hallelujah) in maternity. They’re backordered, but I think they’re going to show up right when the bump pops.
FRIDAY
This was the hardest day for me. Felt a lot of work pressure and personal pressure… and I think I hit my breaking point that night. It wasn’t pretty, but woke up feeling better and more optimistic on Saturday 😅
SATURDAY
Such a rainy, rainy day on Saturday! I usually dread rainy days, but I was weirdly in the mood for it. Just getting nice and cozy. I treated myself to a pedicure. I hadn’t gone to the nail salon since two weeks before our wedding and haven’t had polish on my toes since. Felt like a little dose of normalcy.
SUNDAY
Another gloomy day. I took this as a full rest day, just trying to relax fully before gearing back up for the week. Felt nice to have nothing to do and nowhere to go.
MONDAY
A mundane Monday over here. Blood work in the morning, then I did a quick outdoor photoshoot with NJ.com for an upcoming article, and spent the rest of the day on my laptop working and writing.
One of my favorite things about these posts are the little wins! Thanks so much for sharing! Have a great week!!

The hat on Saturday! 🥰
Congrats on your appointment! Madison is such a great community to raise a family (really all of North Jersey in my opinion 😉)
Would you please share what shirt you wear underneath the Friday turtleneck? I own it in a few colors and love it, but my shirt is always longer and pokes out the bottom and it drives me crazy!
I don’t wear anything under– but I went up a size because it was so cropped
I love that second outfit! It looks so comfortable, and I love the pop of color.

Congratulations on the vaccine appointment!! That will be such a relief. I get my first dose on Saturday!
Sounds like a wonderful block, and happy times ahead. So much to look forward to!
