Sooooo last week had some winter weather hit us and I’m hoping it’s the last of it until…. October. I also spent most of the week gearing up to take time off. Felt a little hectic but I am just so excited to be in Florida to see my fam, it made the work feel easier.
LAST WEEK’S WIN: Meeting some of my “new” neighbors! Feels like such a small thing… but after our last year it felt amazing and, dare I say it, normal. We’ve had so many new families move to our block and we have a small handful of babies arriving this year too! A few of us with babies and babies on the way got together for a walk and it was so nice. It definitely was a good reminder of exactly why we chose this house.
THIS WEEK’S GOAL: Enjoy the week!!!!! Keeping the goal super simple here– I just want to spend time with my family and soak it all in.
WEEK OF OUTFITS 4.27.21
TUESDAY
I spent a good chunk of the day writing in our local bagel shop; this has become my “secret” work spot because it’s pretty much empty and very, very quiet. I never have to worry about parking either. (And, I mean, there are bagels… need I say more?)

WEDNESDAY
A run of the mill Wednesday, followed by volunteering in the afternoon. It was actually a pretty quiet day!
Shirt (currently under $20)
THURSDAY
Okay we woke up and it was freezing out again. I started the morning with therapy in my car and because it was so cold, I threw on a Dudley fleece with the plans of getting dressed for real later. But it never quite warmed up and I didn’t feel that great. Plus I had nowhere to go, so this outfit was the best I could do!
FRIDAY
Spent the morning meeting some of the new neighbors on our block and then jumped into the workday. I went back to the bagel place to work for a bit and then came home to get through more work. Thrilling really.
Shirt (under $15, maternity)

SATURDAY
It was a gorgeous spring day here in NJ. I had a low-key morning or working and then met up with Mike, Mike’s brother and his wife, and a friend at a nearby cider mill for a picnic. Such a fun afternoon outside!!
Last year’s nap dress (here’s a similar-ish dress)
Tote (c/o)
SUNDAY
I spent all day getting ready to head to Florida. Gave a tearful goodbye to the dogs (I hate leaving them!), did laundry, finished up some work, and got to packing. I also got to finally see ELSA again! She’s been in Florida for a while and I’m so happy she’s back here in NJ!
Jeans (maternity)
MONDAY
We left for Florida masked and vaccinated to see my family! Currently finishing this post on the plane… but just can’t wait to see everyone– and enjoy some warm sun. I wear something like this no matter where I’m heading when I’m on a plane because I usually am freezing.

Last Post: Four Ways To Celebrate & Enjoy Spring 🌸🌱
Carly, I hope to see a post about how reuniting with your family goes! Also I’m loving these posts. They give me inspiration daily! I am currently 6 months postpartum, so getting dressed is still a small adventure every day.
