Happy Tuesday! Here’s the last week of outfits I wore!

Nothing too exciting! Just working from home and shooting more campaigns.

WEDNESDAY

This t-shirt has been one of the best basics I’ve bought all year. I absolutely love the scoop neck and ruffle detail. Slightly elevated but it’s still, you know, a t-shirt and jeans! Regular working from home all day and then volunteering in the afternoon, followed by more work in the evening.

THURSDAY

I had a MUCH NEEDED full desk day. I usually try to get in one day a week where I just do desk work, no shooting. But with so many holiday campaigns this year, I’ve done a lot more shooting days. It wasn’t very glamorous but I felt so great getting a lot of random to-dos off my list.

FRIDAY

So… we had a possible COVID exposure and, while the chance was tiny, it was still a chance. Mike and I both opted to get a test just to be safe. It was a miserable experience because tests are so hard to find right now (again). We got in line at 6am and waited until 8:45 in the 40 degree rain. They took our number so we could go home instead of waiting outside still… we went back in the afternoon and stood outside again for another hour in the rain. But we were both negative.

I’ll just say this: it was so annoying having to waste the day away like that. I’ll happily stay in my little bubble instead of having to go through that again! I wore a ski outfit for the rainy morning wait, but then changed into something cuter when we got home (after a very hot shower!) because I needed a mood shift.

SATURDAY

I got a solid chunk of work done in the morning and then I got all dressed up just to pop into Home Depot for an errand. I had no reason to get dressed in a cute outfit, but just felt like it!!

Jacket

Shirt

Jeans

Boots

Margaux flats

SUNDAY

I had more work on Sunday and I wanted to wear this outfit for the photos. I wore it all day until the sun set and then I changed into PJs and did some crafting while Mike watched football.

MONDAY

I had a FULL PLATE yesterday of campaigns and calls. You should see the disaster that is my office. Things are everywhere– but feeling good checking things off my list. I love a productive Monday because it sets the tone for how the rest of the week will play out!

I really enjoy this series! I also work from home, so this inspires me to step it up a little from the usual leggings-sweater-combo.

Love your looks. I am a stay-at-home mom and, therefore, definitely work from home!! Lol. I am so inspired by your cute work-from-home looks. Pre-pandemic I tried, at least, to look polished for running errands-being a put-together mommy, but now, I fear, I am LuLulemon all the way. I’m getting so tired of it! I shop my closet to match your looks the best I can, cause I am an online shop-aholic and tend to buy everything you suggest! I need to curb!! But….those boots! Ah-maze-ing! By the way, remind me of your height? Will they work for a shortie? Or will they end up being over the knee if you are petite??? The website seems to suggest it would be over the kneecap for someone like me, at 5’2”???

Your dedication to wearing jeans when working from home is impressive! Jeans have become going out pants to me. Lol

P.s. I would LOVE to see your ski apparel/post for a ski trip weekend/week of outfits. I have been a quiet admirer of yours, I think since your blog first began as thecollegeprepster, and have always loved your style above all others in the “preppy” (what I prefer to refer to as classic) style.

Hi! Great outfits all week. Do you ever drag out your old/other white sneaks, or are you all in for Tretorns? My superga sneaks are getting old, so am considering the best replacement.

Hi Carly! Friday’s outfit has me absolutely convinced I need Blundstone boots! Practical and cute 🙂
Thank you for another great post of weekly outfits! A new favorite series, for sure.
