Mike and I had the best time in Copenhagen! It was a quick trip but a great few days just Mike and me. All I really need to say is that I want to come back as soon as possible. I love it! I tried to pack light since we were only going for a few days. I brought a few of my favorite sweaters, jeans, and comfortable shoes for exploring. I did pack outfits for dinners out, but it ended up being so cold and rainy that I just wore jeans and sweaters every night. I noticed a lot of the local women were also wearing their sneakers to dinner – even at fancy restaurants, so I wasn’t alone.
I picked a comfy outfit for the redeye flight and wore leggings and a sweater with my favorite crew socks and sneakers. I used my Boat and Tote as my personal item. It is my favorite bag to travel with because you can fit so much in it and it’s super durable. Plus I like that if it gets dirty, I can just toss it in the washing machine when I get home.
Most of our trip to was cold and rainy so I was so glad I bought these boots. Walked all day in the rain and they kept my feet warm and comfortable. I bundled up in a wool coat and cashmere scarf and alternated between this cozy beanie and cute beret. This Barbour umbrella also came in super handy since we were doing so much walking and exploring. Even with the rain, we still managed to see and do everything on our list. I wore these jeans for most of the trip. They are SO comfortable and under $100. If you’re really struggling to break away from skinny jeans but want something a little more straight, try these. (Very true to size in my experience!)

Love this as just a little capsule wardrobe! And haven’t seen a beret for a while: so cute!
I have been thinking about buying those Margaux boots for a long time. So glad you like them!
Taking teenage boys to Copenhagen (and Stockholm and London) this summer. For nice, but not fancy places do you think they will be ok in jeans and polos or button downs? Thanks
I think you can do either- button downs are probably an easier bet!
