BEST SUMMER BAGS

Fall is my favorite season, but summer is definitely the easiest to dress for. I love a dress you can throw on and go (I’ve been wearing this one the most) and the bags are always the cutest!! Adding any more to my wardrobe would be excessive….but that’s not stopping me from rounding up the best summer bags here, ha.

The wicker bags at J.McLaughlin are always top notch, and they make the best straw bags too. This wicker bag has a similar shape to my Jackie, which made me love it immediately! Frankly, I’m shocked this black bag is only $65….I don’t think it’s actually made out of raffia but the reviews are great. By now everyone’s seen Target’s $35 caning tote – and now they’ve come out with a $20 mini tote! Too cute. (By the way, this one is looks almost the exact same but comes in two sizes, four colors, and is WATERPROOF. It’d make the best beach bag.)

I don’t have very many clutches nowadays, but I’m tempted by this bamboo one. It looks bigger in the model shot than I think it actually is, and it’d be nice to be able to alternate between that and the wicker clutch I usually bring to spring and summer weddings. My wicker one isn’t available anymore, but this clutch is similar….and you can monogram it!

I’m loving the contrast between the dark leather and light wicker with this bag, and I think you could get away with wearing into part of the fall. This heart straw bag is just darling, and would be so fun for a girls’ night out. The price on this boxy raffia bag, even with monogramming, surprised me in the best way! Usually I’d go for the camel or navy, but I’m trying to wear more red right now, so that color is definitely catching my eye.

I’ve become more impressed with Amazon over the last few years, and finds like this adorable $35 wicker bag are exactly why – so many rave reviews despite being so inexpensive. The way this raffia tote is woven reminds me of something between a scallop and a wave, which is just perfect for the summer! I was thrilled when J.Crew brought back the Edie bag, and the woven version is SO GOOD.
