Block Print for Days

Let me tell you… this dress is a VIBE. I am obsessed with it more than I can say and basically I want to wear it every day. I think it’s one of the best things J. Crew has released this year. So basically… everyone should get it 😂

I love the mixing of the block prints and the stripes– the various blues. It’s extra comfortable and perfect for a “carefree” dress. Like it would be just as great with sneakers and flats as it would be with espadrilles and heeled sandals.

When I posted about it on Instagram Stories, I got a lot of questions:

How is the sizing?

It fits fairly true to size, if anything you’ll want to size appropriately for your chest. If you have a smaller chest size, I’d go down a size. Since there’s smocking on the back and the straps are adjustable, the dress really contours to your own shape. (I’m wearing a 0.)

Are the buttons functional?

YES! And the best part is that there is a substantial flap of fabric under the buttons so you don’t have to worry about gaping.

What bra do you wear?

Frankly, I go braless. I think if you need/want a bra, an adhesive option would be the best route.

How tall are you?

I’m just under 5’6″ (with a long torso and short legs).
