SUMMER CLOTHING FOR BOYS

As I was taking Jack’s eleven month photos earlier this week, I couldn’t believe how quickly time had passed. These days, he’s more curious than ever and wants to be on the move at all times, ha! We’ve also determined that he is very much a summer baby. Simply put, Jack is at his happiest outside. Whether playing in the grass, spending time at the pond swimming, or sitting under an umbrella at the beach, he loves it all.

I wanted to share some of our favorite summer staples for Jack and a few others I’m eyeing. I maintain that although cute boy clothes exist, it takes longer to find. Since Jack is quite active, it’s important that he is comfortable first and foremost. But I also intend to take full advantage of this short window before he starts picking out his outfits since I have so much fun dressing him!

Recently, I got Jack a shortall in a cute seersucker and sailboat print since he likes his denim overalls so much. It pairs perfectly with a comfortable white polo onesie, and he loves it too. As far as swim staples, Minnow Swim couldn’t be better. These little board shorts are so cute, and I love the fit on Jack. I liked their swim so much that I simply couldn’t resist getting his cousins matching suits earlier this summer. Finding good rashguards for babies that were simple and didn’t have logos was challenging, so I was super excited about this one. And speaking of sun protection for children, Jack’s hat was a wonderful Amazon purchase that provides UPF 50+ sun protection when wet or dry.

Primary carries adorable childrens basics in solids and stripes with no logos. Their rash guards are terrific.

was going to say the same thing, love primary! my daughter swims ~6 days a week year round and minnow is the best/lasts the longest in chlorine, I find their sizing tricky but also primary, hanna andersson, crew cuts, gap, and cat & jack at target also have good no logo options – we don’t do logos or “sayings” either 🙂

The polo onesie!! I loved those when my son was a baby. They’re tucked away in a box now. So precious!

Love these picks! How do you handle if someone gifts your child something outside of your preferred color palette?
