BUILDING A MATERNITY WARDROBE FOR SPRING

This post is sponsored by thredUP.

I have been a big fan of thredUP for years. Now that I’m pregnant, I’m relying on thredUP more than ever!!! If I’ve learned anything in my short time with a baby bump so far, it’s that finding clothes that make me feel GOOD during this stage of life is so, so important. It can also feel kind of daunting to have to re-build a wardrobe as so many of my favorite items in my closet simply no longer fit. It can be expensive, too!!!

thredUP is the world’s largest online thrift store. In my opinion it’s the easiest way to shop secondhand and score fantastic pieces at can’t-beat prices. They carry so many of my favorite brands (like J. Crew, Madewell, and Vineyard Vines) up to 90% off retail. thredUP also has a huge selection of maternity pieces…. and it’s been a game changer for me! I recently bought a few things to build out of my maternity wardrobe for spring and can’t wait to show you what I got!

Using thredUP for maternity clothes is such a great way to save money– especially since you only wear them for a few months.

Here are a few styled looks:

This is actually one of my favorite shirts from J. Crew. I bought it a few sizes bigger to accommodate my growing bump and chest, guilt-free because the price was so great. AND, I also found what I think are hands down the best maternity jeans I’ve tried yet…. These 7 For All Mankind maternity jeans that retail for $198 and I got them for $40.99!!! Talk about a score!!! (They are so comfortable and fit perfectly!)

Old Navy maternity dress

Isn’t this a sweet dress? It’s an Old Navy maternity dress (which I got for under $14!) and fits the bump so nicely.

gingham dress thredUP

This dress is not maternity, but I crossed my fingers that it would fit (thredUP offers easy returns so you can order things without the stress of wondering if it will work or not!). And it ended up being perfect. In fact, I can see this dress being an easy go-to throughout the rest of my pregnancy.

thrifted maternity dress

And one last maternity dress. I can’t believe how comfortable this one is! Super stretchy and I also think it will be a great option for nursing as well once baby is here. This retails for $60 and I also got it from thredUP for $25.99.

I used thredUP this past fall to get some business casual basics for student government at my school- it was so incredibly affordable and easy to use!
