We took these photos a couple of weeks ago and I’m sad to report that almost all of the leaves around here have already fallen. We’ve even gotten some great little flurries! It’s helping me embrace the impending winter.
Anyway, it’s just hard to believe how much has changed in such a short period of time. I kind of want to go back to this exact spot during a snow day for a whole different kind of vibe.
I think I’m going to wear a variation of this outfit at least once a week. It’s so comfortable and actually keeps me warm. Easy enough to throw on a coat, too.
I’ve been loving my demi boot crop jeans. (I have them in a bunch of washes now– I really am obsessed.) But I was struggling with what shoes to wear when it’s cold out. Do I go bare ankles and suffer for fashion? Probably not something I’m interested in. Do I wear cute little socks and let them show? I’ve seen this on Instagram, but I don’t think I’m cool enough to properly pull this off.
Turns out, my Margaux boots are the perfect height and silhouette!
I had to get Jack this little cashmere set (here’s the hat, too). It’s a splurge and maybe not the most practical, but it’s so sweet and cozy.

Because of your posts, I purchased my first pair of Margaux Demi’s.. I cannot wait for them to ship and arrive. Love your jeans! I need a pair just like this. The leaves have all fallen by now in France too, it makes me a little sad but thankfully Christmas will be there soon!
