THE EMERALD GINGHAM NAP DRESS: NOW AND LATER

I was thrilled to hear Hill House was bringing back their Emerald Gingham Nap Dress this month. I got one two years ago and somehow managed to snag it before they sold out. It’s hands down my most worn Nap Dress, but I try to avoid wearing it on social media because I get so many questions about it and start to feel a little guilty, ha!

Now that Emerald Gingham is back, I wanted to share two easy outfits for now and later. Nap Dresses are my ideal dress to throw on. They’re ridiculously comfortable and breezy and one of those styles that look great with flats and sneakers. I love that it’s a dress that can suffice on its own but also works well with turtlenecks and fleeces well into fall.

NOW | Nap Dress // Cardigan // Flats // Canvas Tote // Pearl Earrings

The Emerald Gingham Nap Dress styled with a simple cream cardigan is the perfect transitional look to wear as we head into September since you can toss the cardigan over your shoulders or layer it over your dress if it gets chilly. I’d pair a coordinating emerald green canvas tote and brown flats for a cute and easy outfit. I have to say that I am very close to getting a pair of these woven flats since they’re so versatile.

LATER | Nap Dress // Fleece // White Sneakers // Woven Tote // Sunglasses // Hoop Earrings

A Dudley Stephens fleece over a Nap Dress is my ideal fall outfit. I wore this combination a lot last year since it’s comfortable enough to wear around the house but still looks effortlessly put together for running errands around town or weekend plans. You could do a green or navy fleece and I’d style this outfit with a woven tote bag and white sneakers.

I received my re-edition emerald green Ellie Nap Dress yesterday and I absolutely love it! The combinations of it being a gingham pattern and being in one of my fave colors, emerald green makes me want to wear it many times too. It’s one of those colors you can wear year round. In the ways you have styled it, it is definitely possible to wear it beyond summer.
