FALL WORK OUTFIT FINDS

It’s been so nice to have a beautiful space to go to work. I’ve been going almost every day while Jack is in daycare and I haven’t felt this inspired in a while, and forgot how nice it is to have a dedicated office space! On that note, it got me thinking about workwear. I consider the end of summer as a reset of sorts, even though only kids are going back to school. With the start of fall around the corner, I wanted to round up a few pieces for fall work outfits. I’m a big fan of filling your closet with staple pieces that you can mix and match, and this fall, I’m gravitating towards a brown and navy palette!

Fall Work Outfit Finds

Houndstooth Blazer // Cashmere Cable Knit Sweater // Tie Neck Blouse // Tan Lady Jacket // Leather and Suede Tote // Wide Leg Corduroy Trousers // Striped Lady Jacket // Cashmere Mock Neck Sweater // Scallop Popover Top // Striped Cropped Button Up // Bi-Stretch Pants // Ballet Flats // Shift Dress

A classic button-up is one of those timeless staples you can’t go wrong with for work. I love this striped button-up with contrasting cuffs and a white collar. It’s a fun take on a classic, and the slightly cropped length is perfect for pairing with a pair of high-waisted wide leg pants. For a top that’s a little more feminine, I love the scalloped details and bows on this white popover top. Corduroy pants are making a comeback, and I just thought these wide leg trousers would look so cute styled with a cream cable knit sweater this fall. Such a chic fall work outfit, right?!

Lady jackets are one of my staples all year round and will definitely be a part of many fall outfit ideas. They’re so versatile and something I find myself reaching for again and again. I’ve been wearing this striped sweater lady jacket on repeat since spring. The navy and cream stripes are a classic and the gold buttons are a gorgeous touch. The fabric feels luxurious, and the length is just right – it has the appearance of being cropped without it being too cropped. It’s no surprise that I immediately fell in love with the soft brown tweed version J.Crew brought out that’s destined for fall business casual outfits. It’s feminine, polished, and the perfect to mix in rotation with your blazers.
