FOURTH OF JULY OUTFIT IDEAS

There are less than two weeks until the 4th of July, and this summer is already going by too fast! The Fourth has always felt like a marker of how much of the summer is left. It comes around so quickly each year and makes me want to rewind just a little so I can have a few extra weeks of summer. This year we’re spending our holiday weekend in Nantucket, and I could not be more excited!

As for what to wear, there are so many great outfit ideas for the Fourth of July! I love that you really can’t go wrong as long as you stick to red, white, and blue, ha! I’ve shared some of my past outfits in a previous blog post, but I know everyone has their own Fourth of July traditions, so I wanted to share a few more ideas inspired by occasions.

FOURTH OF JULY OUTFIT IDEAS

Top // Shorts // Sunglasses // Bucket Bag // Espadrilles (under $25)

Grilling out for the Fourth of July is such a fun way to spend the day, and I love having a big meal with friends and family. For backyard cookouts, a simple outfit like this would be my choice! A red eyelet blouse with jean shorts is a great combination to stay cool in, and you can always style this outfit with white jeans if shorts aren’t your thing or you want to make this look a little dressier.

4TH OF JULY BEACH AND POOL OUTFIT

Sunhat // Rash Guard // Bikini Top (50% off) // Bikini Bottom // Slides (under $50) // Tote

This might be a little closer to what my Fourth of July outfit will look like this year! For a day at the beach (or lake), a red swimsuit with a striped navy rash guard is the way to go. Add a sunhat, waterproof slides, and don’t forget your sunscreen!

FOURTH OF JULY OUTFIT IDEAS

Dress // Bag // Wedges // Earrings

Last but not least, for a more fancy occasion or dinner out, a blue dress with espadrille wedges is a classic! Add a red lip and a pair of statement earrings for a pop of red to complete the look.
