Little Navy Dress

I actually bought this dress in berry earlier this fall. I had wanted it in cream, but wasn’t fast enough to get it in my size. The berry is such a gorgeous color and the fit of the dress is so perfect that I couldn’t resist getting it in navy too. (It also comes in black if you want a true LBD!)

This is such a classic dress– a staple you’ll be glad you have tucked away in your closet. It’s one of those perfect dresses that looks great dressed up and dressed down. One day I wore the berry dress with a faux fur vest and booties and then another time I wore it with nude pumps and a clutch for a fancy dinner.

I can’t wait for warmer weather when I can wear this bare-legged with navy flats too. But for now? Tights and pumps! I love that it looks like a traditional LBD with a twist since it’s navy.

After reading some of the initial reviews online, I went up a size (usually a 0 in GMG, got 2 in this particular style). Just as a warning, don’t judge the dress until it’s fully zipped up. I didn’t love the way it looked when I first tried it on, but then I fully zipped it up and the shape really came to life.

I also like that there’s a tiny puff of the sleeve but it’s not overwhelming. And the waistline is also just right.

These are the shoes I bought after my KonMari cleanout and I love them already. They come in so many colors, they’re insanely comfortable, and they are priced just right.
