LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING

I had another post scheduled for today but goodness it is so lovely out right now (I’m writing this on Wednesday!) that I had to change gears. First of all, I think I have exited the worst of the nausea stage of pregnancy and I feel like the fog has cleared. I almost don’t even remember the past two months– every day felt exactly the same and not in a good way. I am craving greens (I can’t get enough of crunchy cucumbers right now) and don’t even want to look at bread, which was my lifeline during the first trimester.

And then. Just as I was starting to physically feel better…. the SUN CAME OUT.

I know talking about the weather is so boring and you’re not “supposed” to do it in blog posts. But. By god it felt like there was a figurative and literal cloud over us for a long time. I never love the winter months and it was exacerbated by the pandemic. Between feeling better. Seeing that another vaccine is getting approved and more vaccine doses will be available soon. And that we’re about to spring forward in about a couple of weeks. And the sun coming out. The temperatures feeling a little more springlike.

I’m just in a good, good mood.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING

This weekend, I’m planning on doing a DEEP clean of my closet and storage bins. I want to move everything I know won’t fit or be comfortable with a bump and put in storage and also just keep out exactly what’s seasonally, stay at home, and size appropriate. I’m dreaming of even springier days ahead!!

Very tempted by the sandals. They remind me of birkenstocks.

I am also so happy that more and more people are able to get the vaccine. It seems like we might be finally able to come out of this pandemic. Hope you can get yours soon!

I’ve had that jcrew cashmere polo in my bag since it came out. LOVE love love but why is cashmere never included in sales 😢😭 Isn’t the second trimester like a new day! Enjoy it (I would say while you can because man there are some things noooo one tells you about, but in the end it’s all for a beautiful baby so worth it).

I like those green sandals! You might just have influenced, me they look comfy.

One of your sentences confused me a little bit and then I realized I think you mean exacerbate instead of exasperate. Not a criticism it was probably just a typo that AutoCorrect did not catch. Because both are actual words.

Happy to see you in a better mood!

It happens! I am in grad school and thus writing all of the time. I have a close group of friends who I call upon/ask to read my papers so they can find errors that I don’t catch. haha.

Love all the pieces you have choices! Almost ready to buy the polo at regular price, but holding out(crossing fingers) for a sale. Love the sandals. I love all the greens you and others have posted, but so biased to blues. I want everything tennis themed! Looking forward to seeing your maternity styles!
