This post is going to be for a very niche audience. Apologies if you don’t fit into this category, I acknowledge it’s a small group. That group is moms with sons who still want to match with their kids every now and then 😉 Now that Jack is getting bigger, we have established a bit of a uniform for him (white long sleeve tee, these pants on cold days, these shorts on warm days, this pullover for layering, high socks, comfy sneakers, and this coat for cold days). That’s what is most comfortable for him for all his various activities and it makes mornings (and laundry days) a breeze. But…. I don’t want to not have at least a little fun dressing him! At least until he can vocalize what he wants to wear!
When he was younger, I did a lot of mom and son matching outfits just for fun. Now it’s more of a special occasion kind of thing. It may be a little extra, but I’m enjoying this while I can, you know? Hopefully we’ll have another child and I’ll be able to start the process all over again, haha!
