MY FIRST JENNI KAYNE

You know when you click on one link from Pinterest or wherever and then you start seeing it everywhere? Either from targeted ads or confirmation bias?! Well when I started looking at Jenni Kayne sweaters, then I started seeing them everywhere. On Instagram, on Facebook. On blogs I read, on Pinterest. I couldn’t stop drooling over the knit sweaters– they just look so effortless.

It took me forever to order one because I kept changing my mind on what sweater I wanted to try first. They all looked so good! I love the whole vibe of her collection. Laid back, oversized, extra cozy.

Let’s just say, the moment I put on my first sweater, I knew it wouldn’t be my last. They are absolutely a splurge– but feels so luxuriously worth it. I also love to wear sweaters year round. I wore this one on a super snowy day and also think it’d work perfectly for a trip to the beach during the summer too.

MY FIRST JENNI KAYNE

This particular style is the “Cabin Sweater.”

I can’t get over how soft it is. And the length is dreamy. Perfect for doing a little tuck for a high/low look or with leggings for full coverage. I’m wearing the XS and it’s plenty roomy– definitely don’t size up and if you’re in between sizes go down.

So gorgeous… I had to enforce a very strict “stop buying sweaters” mandate on myself (I’m obsessed) but this is just so pretty….

So weird! I think the website is down.. I can’t get it to load on my phone or computer, even if I just go direct… 🤞🏻 it’s back up soon!

I JUST bit the bullet a few weeks ago and bought the Everyday Sweater in Taupe. It is my new favorite and it’s been so hard not to buy it in every color!! I even ran into someone wearing the exact same sweater the first day a wore it out and we both couldn’t stop gushing over it, haha!

I love the look of Jenni Kayne sweaters and have also been lusting over the Instagram ads, but I just cannot get over 400 dollars for a sweater. 150-200, sure, but 400? For that price it needs to be self-washing and magical.

I just literally laughed out loud to myself at your comment! I would *love* a self-washing sweater. Laundry is for sure on my list of least favorite things. 🙂 That said, I’ve found myself splurging on different things than I would’ve thought, pre-pandemic… like really nice moisturizer. Not that I think we should find our happiness in buying things.. but sometimes a splurge on something nice can spark some joy in these weird times! Different strokes/splurges for different folks, I guess.

You are totally correct – we all have the right to treat ourselves a little during a pandemic if we have the means to do so! I made the self washing comment because shrinking sweaters in the wash is basically my specialty.

The sweater looks amazing… But what probably struck me most in this post was the close-up picture of you! Your make-up — subtle, but looks really nice. the blush, the lipstick, your eyebrows, all of it! — your accessories… you just look lovely, and casually put together. I’d love to know what lip color you have on!

it’s bobbi brown uber beige! but I’m so sad it was discontinued…. I’m definitely using expired lipstick until it’s out!
