ON MY RADAR 10.14.22

This week was a great one!! I had such a fun time away last weekend– it was the perfect reset and I jumped into the week feeling so refreshed. My mom is coming into town tomorrow. Our town has its big festival that was rescheduled from a couple of weeks ago and I think we’ll also try to squeeze in a few fun fall activities while she’s here. I’ve been researching some pumpkin patches to take Jack to and I can’t wait to have my mom come to his little activities so she can see how fun they are.

Here’s what’s been on my radar:

I got to test drive ChappyWrap’s shawl while we were in Maine. I am obsessed– the perfect weight and length. Great for traveling or throwing into a tote on those “in between” weather days.

ONE // Rockette Auditions

You know how much I love the Rockettes! I’m hoping to make it into the city to see them once this holiday season. Their Youtube channel has been releasing new episodes from the Rockette auditions, and of course I’m hooked.

TWO // Pamela Munson x Atlantic Pacific

Blair’s collaboration with Pamela Munson is absolutely beautiful. Such a perfect brand alignment. Also, as far as I’m concerned, Blair can do no wrong. She has the most epic style. It’s hard to pick a favorite from the collection, they’re all so perfect. I love this bow clutch, this navy bow bag, and navy + pearl clutch. Literally love it all.

THREE // Designing a Book Cover with Grace Han

I always love perusing books and taking note of the gorgeous covers. Loved this post on Penguin’s website about more of the behind the scenes of how book covers are selected. I’ve always been curious– even after going through the process myself last year, it was different than I expected and I imagine novels are also a whole different beast!

FOUR // Petite Keep’s New Fabric

Petite Keep sent Jack the cutest trunk to store some of his favorite baby items. It’s adorable. I just got an email announcing their new fabric choices and, um, they’re so cute. Such a fun touch. The “timeless trellis” and “touch of blue” are my favorite selections. If you’re looking for a special gift for a new mom, this is a fun one.

FIVE // Beacon Hill Books & Cafe

You know how I’ve always wanted to open a bookstore. Well, now I don’t want to because the most perfect bookstore exists now. Beacon Hill Books & Cafe is new to Boston and it is, without a doubt, the bookstore of my dreams!!! I can’t wait to visit!!! You need to watch this TikTok tour!!! No really– bookstore. of. my. dreams.

MUST plan a trip to Boston! I love bookstores, too, and this looks like it will easily top all others I’ve been to. I cannot wait to get my hands on the bookstore’s tote and candle.

I love your Radar posts! I do think you need to talk to Beacon Hill books about doing a satellite location in your area. You curate the books, Mike does the selections for the cafe. Sounds like a winner!
