On My Radar

I have a full weekend of house projects lined up! From assembling furniture to doing a little bit of painting and working on our yard some more. I have to say, I find these things to be so rewarding. Every week, it feels a bit more like home!!

Here’s what was on my radar this week:

ONE // HOUSE PLANT JOURNAL

I stumbled on this amazing website that talks all about plant health! I’ve been trying to incorporate more green into our decorating with live plants and I want to make sure I’m taking care of everything properly.

TWO // HATCH x J. CREW

We’re getting to that stage of the blog where some readers have kids and/or are pregnant! My friend group is split 50/50 on this right now– half are either pregnant or have babies and the other half don’t. Anyway– Hatch just did a collaboration with J. Crew and the pieces look really great. Sharing in case someone needs some cute bump-friendly pieces. (I think it’s so smart that they did workwear items!)

THREE // LITTLE WOMEN OFFICIAL TRAILER

Ummm who is excited for this version of Little Women?!?! It’s an all-star cast with Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, and Timothee Chalamet! The trailer looks so, so good. My only problem? I wish we didn’t have to wait so long for it to come out– Christmas Day!

FOUR // ADJUSTABLE BELT

I’m going to be doing a full post dedicated to reviewing this belt– which sounds insane, I know. But trust me, it’s worth it. The spoiler alert is that it’s the most perfect belt I’ve ever seen made 😂 It’s completely adjustable, has the cutest little clasp, and can work with jeans/pants AND higher on the waist with dresses. Gen-ius.

FIVE // SIMONE BILES

I am sure that most everyone has seen Simone Biles’ recent performance where she earned her sixth (SIXTH!) national championship. I could watch her compete over and over again. Literally just in awe of her strength and power.

PS I also couldn’t not include this incredibly heartwarming story of a gay penguin couple adopting an egg to start their family. There’s a chance it’s not fertilized but I really hope it is!!!
