ON MY RADAR 4.21.23

We’re down in Florida for the weekend with my parents– excited for a fun in the sun. I packed Jack’s little shorts and, of course, extra sunscreen.

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // AI Made This Vlog

I’ve been trying to play around with AI lately, just so I know what’s going on. And I’ve been having a lot of conversations about this with friends too– in all kinds of industries. I think AI, when used as a tool, is great. But…. there are limitations. I am obsessed with this video Casey Neistat made because it’s spot on. (And exactly what I was getting at in this post….)

TWO // Linen Dress 50% Off

One of my favorite dresses of the year is 50% off. I got it a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to give my spring wardrobe a little refresh. (I packed it for Tampa, too!) I think it runs true to size, but if you’re in between sizes I would size down. It’s flattering and comfortable. While it’s linen, it’s actually lined so you don’t have to worry about it being see through. And did I mention…. pockets.

THREE // Barbie x American Girl on SNL

This SNL skit cracked me up. I don’t even really need to say much about it, just trust me and watch it for a good giggle. (They nailed the costuming– definitely my favorite part!)

FOUR // The Soho Sandal

It’s probably only a matter of time before my entire shoe wardrobe is filled with Margaux. I think I need a pair of these new Soho sandals– they look exactly like what I’m missing in my closet. I’ve been looking for a simple heel to wear in the summer months. But not a pump and not anything too fancy and also not an espadrille (already have those…). I think I’m going to get the gold because it’s a good neutral but part of me reallllllly wants that lovely chartreuse. Such a fun pop!

FIVE // Justine Bateman On Aging

I absolutely loved this interview with actress Justine Bateman on aging. She’s adamant that she is not an activist, but I think she really is. I’m glad she’s speaking out on aging and hoping more people in the spotlight follow suit.
