ON MY RADAR 5.5.23

Our friends are hosting a little get together tonight for Cinco de Mayo. I’m excited to kick off the weekend with friends and, hallelujah, it looks like we’re going to have beautiful spring weather to enjoy. Woo!

Here’s what has been on my radar this week:

ONE // Eco-Adventure Passport

Micro Kickboard hooked Jack up with his own mini scooter. He has been watching his big kid neighbors scoot up and down the sidewalk for months and while we were down in Florida, he borrowed someone’s and actually got it. I wasn’t entirely sure that he was ready, but let me tell you, he is! And he LOVES scooting. Micro Kickboard let me know that they’re currently doing a promotion where you and your kids can track of Earth-friendly activities up until National Scooter Day (May 19) in a cute passport. Then you submit the passport for a chance to win cool prizes!

TWO // New Office Space Collab with Clare!

If you missed this exciting announcement on Instagram…. I GOT AN OFFICE/STUDIO SPACE! It’s been a long time coming, but I wanted to make sure I had the right space before I committed. While I love working from home, it’s just no longer working for me at its highest capacity. I’m excited to have a little space to spread my wings, so to speak. But the coolest part?! Clare Sullivan (from TikTok fame!) is going to be helping me redesign the space!!! Check out the first episode of her series… I nearly fell out of my chair when I watched it for the first time.

THREE // Mini Pillows

These are the most darling little mini pillows I’ve ever seen. I have been hunting for a cute one for Jack and I think I’m going to go with one of these. I just can’t figure out which color/print. Leaning between the plain blue stars and the blue stars with Schumacher fabric. He is very into stars and it’ll coordinate nicely with his star wallpaper.

FOUR // Tomato Chili Salmon

You know when you find a “weeknight dinner” online somewhere and you think… sure it’s a weeknight dinner because you eat it on a weeknight but it’s going to take me four hours to make?! Well this looks like a delicious– and proper– weeknight dinner. I’ve been really, really trying to make dinner once a week (I know that sounds lame, but Mike is the chef in our family and he usually does dinner for us!) and I think this is going to be the next meal I tackle. (Here is the full recipe typed out!)

FIVE // LBD (Linen Black Dress)

Ugh I’m just such a sucker for beautiful linen pieces… and I’m soooo into this gorgeous silhouette from Reformation. I love the black, of course, but I think I might actually buy it in red to infuse a bit more color into my summer wardrobe. A friend sent it to me thinking that I would like it and she was 100% spot on. (I’m also really loving this beautiful midi linen dress as well.)

Maybe it’s just me but the mini pillows link does not seem to work! They sound cute though!

Yummo, that salmon! I like all of the acidity in the recipe. Looks like it would work well together.
