OUR GO-TO DIAPER BAG ESSENTIALS with PIPETTE

This post is sponsored by Pipette & ShopStyle Collective.

When Mike and I were dreaming about all the things Jack might inherit from us, it was a long list. Would he have sandy hair like Mike or dark hair like me? Would he take after his dad in the athletic department or be more of a sideline kind of guy? One thing he did end up inheriting was our sensitive skin! In addition to his already sensitive skin, we are also very particular about what products we use on Jack because he’s just a baby! We are cautious about the ingredients we want to use.

As Jack approached six months and we were spending more time outdoors, I started researching different sunscreens that would be safe for him. I kept seeing Pipette’s Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 pop up in one of the online mom groups I’m in. Moms raved about it because it was quickly absorbed into the skin, didn’t leave a white cast, and could be used on the whole family. I promptly ordered and we have been so happy with it. It uses 100% mineral, non-nano zinc oxide for broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

before and after, no white cast!

It was our “gateway” to Pipette products and everything I’ve tried (for either myself or Jack) has been a winner. Pipette’s line was designed for sensitive skin of babies, without compromising on safety or sustainability with ingredients that are gentle and clean.

I have been so impressed with the Baby Balm, too. For Jack, I like to put it on his rough spots after bathing him and before putting on his pajamas. He wakes up in the morning with super soft skin! I’ve been so impressed with it that I started applying it to my own rough patches of skin– particularly my elbows and knees– before bed. And it is available in a stick too, which makes use on the go a breeze. It’s nice and compact so it fits perfectly into a small pouch within our diaper bag and I can use it in a pinch if I find a little chapped or rough patch of skin on Jack. (Or, let’s face it, me.) Again, I use the Baby Balm confidently knowing it moisturizes with clean ingredients safe for baby.

Oh, and are you a tired mom??? You have to try Pipette’s Look Awake Eye Gel– it is a dream to put on every morning and evening. Seriously, it feels like a mini trip to the spa when you use the roller. It has a cooling rollerball applicator and the gel moisturizes, revives, visibly reduces dark circles. It’s a mini but impactful little act of self-care when you only have 30 seconds!

I’m not a tired mom… But a very tired self employed 20-something-year-old… So I just may have to try that Look Awake Eye Gel! 🙂

I was wondering if you have any idea on what car seat you will use next for Jack when he outgrows the Nuna Pipa. I have a son around the same age and since I know you put a lot of research into these types of decisions, I’d love to hear your opinion!
